What you'll do

In the beautiful café Marly, located in front of the Pyramid, the experience starts with a debate of 20 minutes. Is the Mona Lisa ugly? Why did the Egyptians did the same thing for over 3000 years? This discussion will help you ask the right questions, and will make the visit more adapted to your preferences and knowledge.

Let's then discover the Louvre, while never waiting in line! From the treasures old of several millenniums to the revolutions' paintings, let's jump in time. We will discover the masterpieces of the museum without bullshit, and some more confidential artworks. We will play, think and learn together. We will deepen our visit in the places that you like the most.

Let's have a good time! we will watch movie extracts, listen to songs, and look at other artworks to understand for a better understanding of the past. With children, paper chase and other playful activities will be proposed to make the visit fun.

Duration; between 2h and 3h depending on you?

I am a passionate art historian and co-founder of the start-up Universal Museum of Art, the first museum in virtual reality. I have vast knowledge in every artistic field but more importantly, I like talking about art, I like to light up your hearts and your brains, and I like spending a good time inside museums. Experts or with children, the visit is adapted to you. My conviction is that anyone can become passionate about art. No text should be recited, the content should be adapted to you, I should understand who you are, and what you like.

Where you'll be

We will gather in one of the most beautiful café of the capital, on a terrace overlooking the pyramid.

We will then go to the Louvre. We will either go on a journey that you will have decided, or in a journey full of discoveries and surprises.

Jean was absolutely phenomenal & exceeded our expectations. We had a very limited time to see the Louvre. But, he sat with us & got to know us & our desires of what we wanted to see in the Louvre. His knowledge & passion furthered our desire to employ him the following day for a different museum. He even made recommendations of additional sites to see & even a great restaurant recommendation. We look forward to our return to Paris.

Jean was friendly, showed genuine interest on art, was very knowledgeable, had great ideas, commentary, was a GREAT listener, etc. I highly recommend him. I could only hope he creates more tours for Airbnb bc he has so much to offer in so many areas. We went to a restaurant, and discussed our personal interests and once he got to know us, he made sure to tailor the experience based on our conversation. I was very impressed by his revisiting details from our discussion because it showed he was really listening to us. My boyfriend and I joked that Jean made our first visit to Paris lovely and we joked that because it was on Valentine’s Day, we were happy to have shared it with each other AND with Jean!
