You'll jump right into action for your 1 hour lesson. First we will do a warmup, then go over your goals for your lesson, work on technique and follow up with some drills that will leave you feeling invigorated!

I was a professional tennis player on the Women’s Tour from 1977-1987. I competed in over 25 Grand Slam Championships including 8 Wimbledons & 11 U.S. Opens. I achieved a World Ranking of #18. My most recognized mixed doubles partner was World Ranked #1 John McEnroe. As a junior, I won 4 National titles and while attending the University of Southern California, playing #1 singles, I won the NCAA’s Singles Title as a freshman and the team title. After my pro tennis career, I earned my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and now have my own practice as an Integrative Health Coach.

Where you'll be
We will conduct our lesson at Libbey Park, a historic park, founded by Edward Libbey and the venue for “The Ojai,” the oldest amateur tennis tournament in the USA. A favorite gathering spot for residents, and a must-see site for visitors, Libbey Park is one of Ojai’s gems.

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.
Government ID
You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Tennis shoes (not running shoes), racket, comfortable exercise attire, hat or visor, sunscreen, water and snack, if desired.
