What you'll do

GUIDED TOUR OF OUR SHOE FACTORY
1. Visit to the leather warehouse: sensory experience in which you can touch the raw materials, to understand where the production of a shoe starts. Visitors will touch and choose the materials to use.
2. Company history: short overview of the company history from its foundation in 1937 by Ugo Rangoni, the 1966 flooding, the expansion in the 80s until today. Visit to our small "museum area", where we will show many old pictures from the 40s until today and many vintage shoes we have produced in the past (1940s-2000s).
3. How to create a shoe: practical demonstration by one of our artisans of the production of a shoe. The artisan will assemble a pair of shoe in front of the visitors, showing our craftmanship coming to reality and the real added value we deliver to our customers. Visitors can participate into the shoe creation.
5. If possible, we will make a short visit inside the production area, to better understand the main steps required to produce shoes on a larger scale.
4. Visit to our factory store: end of the tour and visit to the factory store to see and try the finished models.
Other things to note
The location of our factory is in the beautiful tuscan hills of Chianti Rufina, close to Florence. You can reach us in 30 minutes by Car or you can even take the train from Santa Maria Novella Station

I work at Rangoni Shoes and represent the third generation of our company: in 1937 my grandfather started producing shoes of the highest quality in Florence. Our company is small almost a laboratory and we work as a family. I am proud of our craftsmanship, but above all of our long history that I would like to share. I know three languages and I worked in contact with the public by selling in our stores in the USA. I know very well the process of creating a shoe. In fact since I was born I have been living among leathers, models and sketches and I would like to share our passion and history.
