What you'll do
Meet you at Fukutoku shrine near A6 exit of Mitsukoshimae station on Ginza LIne. Explore Nihonbashi district which has beautiful light up in the evening. We will see a beautiful statue, too. Let's enjoy cooking at my office on the main street of Nihonbashi. Before the meal, I will teach convenient Japanese phrases to use during your trip. Greetings, how to order food and drinks..... I will help you learn Japanese, too. We will use the phrases during the cooking time and the party. "Kanpai! (Cheers!)" makes everyone smile! Let's enjoy the party with the locals. You will be able to use the phrases during the party. You will make some Japanese friends in no time. The end of the party, we will say "Sayonara. Mata aimasho." (Good bye. See you again!) at the party. I will take you to Mitsukoshimae station after the party.
Other things to note
My office is on the 5th floor without elevator. so if you have trouble walking, it is very difficult to join this activity. But you can leave the party venue anytime if it ends late.

I am a language teacher since 1989. I have been teaching Japanese and English to more than 27,000 people. I would like you to join my party with locals. I lived in Australia and have many international friends. I have known some of them for more than 40 years. Let's make Japanese dish , nabe (Hot Pot, a vegetables and pork dish, can be a vegetarian hot pot if you are vegetarian) and onigiri (rice balls) with locals. I also teach you survival Japanese which makes your trip more interesting and easier.
Where you'll be
We will meet at the gate of Fukutoku Shrine near Mitsukoshimae station. Then we will see the beautiful statue in Mitukoshi department store. We will enjoy viewing night walk to my office which is also on the main street in Nihonbashi. We learn Japanese expressions and cooking with my Japanese students in my small and cozy office. After the party, I will take you to Mitsukoshimae station.
Yoko showed us around her neighbourhood, showing great sights and locations we would not have found on our own. Afterwards we had a fun cooking experience, which she made vegetarian for us, and we learned some Japanese words and spoke to some of her friends about life in Japan.

Yoko is a very friendly and smart person. She showed us some history in the Ginza area which I did not know about and had a delicious dinner afterwards with some of her students. It was a great time socializing and learning. Highly reccomend.

Such a great evening! Social, educational, good value, and a delicious dinner. First we learnt about the shrines and the district on a walking tour, then the group went to Yoko's workplace (where she runs a language school). We learnt how to make onigiri and nabe, then had a hearty dinner and talked with the other group members and some of Yoko's adult students. It was a good chance to learn some useful Japanese phrases. ありがとうございました!

An interesting meeting with an English teacher for Japanese people in her office. First we had a tour and then we went to her small office on the 5th floor.
She made a hotpot and it was good. Before that we had a lesson to make rice balls.
Its a very worth and interesting evening i guess its depending who will be there and so on.
I recommend it for open minded people as an special experience. :) however, its a great opportunity to meet Japanese people and ask whatever you want.
