What you'll do

Saturday morning: visit to the organic farmers market of Kalamaria neighboorhood where we will chat with producers, sample various local, in season, organic products: such as honey, fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, fresh juices, handmade savory pies, grappa, rustic wines, and cheese. we can then visit local restaurant for lunch for midday meal. After lunch visit to 4th generation wine distributor for private tasting and brief lesson on Greek wine varieties, some of which have been in cultivation since ancient times. Opportunity to purchase wine and arrange shipment to home address. Option to also visit wine museum and winery in Epanomi, there is also an excellent restaurant on site, approx. 30km away.

Depot de Vins/MyCava-private wine distributorship, one of the oldest wine merchant families in the city, private class and tasting by Stelios Dimitriadis, an expert on Greek wines.
Gerovassiliou Winery and Museum-outside the city, hard to access without a private car due to distance.
