What you'll do

You’ve come all the way to Florence and so let me show you the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important art museums in the world! I love to share the gallery in a lively, fun way, with a break for coffee or gelato — and an incredible rooftop view of the city — midway though. Although the collection has over 1,600 paintings, I’ll curate the experience so that you are not overwhelmed. We will treat the museum as a kind of art history book. I select the most important works of the Gothic, Renaissance, Mannerist and Baroque
periods. We’ll look at all the most famous paintings by artists like Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Michelangelo. I’ll tell you about the evolution of art with some
fascinating historical information. It will be an unforgettable experience of some of best Italian art anywhere.

** ticket entrance is not included. You should book ticket at the official website of Uffizi museum or if you prefer I can book for you **

The purchase of the museum ticket is made by the guest.

Larissa was very kind and caring to us. She took us through the most important artworks, staring before the Renaissance and going chronologically. Thanks to her we enjoyed the museum very much and had a much better understanding compared to what we would have achieved on our on. I can only recommend her!

Larissa’s tour was wonderful. Her passion for the artwork was infectious and she was very accommodating. We spent more than 2 hours focusing on some of the more interesting pictures and stopped for a coffee in the lovely museum terrace cafe. We learnt a lot about the paintings, the artists and the city itself. Would highly recommend to anyone who wanted a personal art experience.

We really enjoyed this small private tour of the uffizi gallery. Despite the restrictions of COVID, this was still a real highlight. Because we had to wear a mask, we wore an earpiece that allowed us to hear Larissa clearly as we progressed through the galleries. Our guide was knowledge and enthusiastic and conveyed the stories behind the paintings very well. A highlight for us was the Botticelli rooms but also works by Raphael and Michaelangelo. This was a great tour that provided information on the chosen paintings and gave the wider context too - the European history of the time and particularly the rise of the Medici and of Florence. A highlight of our trip so far, thank you, Larissa. We highly recommend it.

Larissa's tour was amazing! The Uffizi can be a bit overwhelming on your own. Larissa gave a great tour that really captured the highlights of the gallery and gave great insight to the pieces. I was able to circle back at the end of our tour to some of my favorite pieces as well. I would highly recommend her tour if you are looking to spend a day at the Uffizi! She was fantastic!
