What you'll do
Welcome to Windy City Vegan! I look forward to hosting you in my home where together we'll cook a three-course seasonal vegan menu. Each class will be 3 hours and be limited to 1-4 guests. The class will be a hands-on cooking class where you'll cook and eat everything we make. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with a glass of my world famous ginger tea. Then you'll receive a workbook containing all the recipes we'll cook together along with explanations for the nutritional benefits of each of the ingredients we’ll use. I will share a brief overview of my story and then explain the importance of moving towards a more plant-based diet. I will share with you simple ways you can increase your consumption of veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, and legumes. Then we’ll start cooking, chopping and discussing the methods to cook the recipes. All guests will participate in preparing ingredients and cooking. Once the recipes are prepared we’ll enjoy the meal together looking out at the beautiful Chicago skyline from my River North Apartment. Guests will leave with a nut milk bag to make their own almond milk at home. Check out the calendar and book your spot in my next class!

Where you'll be
Guests will be cooking in my beautiful downtown Chicago apartment. My apartment is on the 26th floor of a downtown Chicago high-rise with incredible views of the skyline. It’s like being in a fine dining restaurant but one that only serves plants! How fun is that?!
Things to keep in mind
If requested, the host can accommodate the dietary needs listed. You must let the host know before the experience if you’d like an accommodation.
Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
