What you'll do
Get ready to make lifetime memories! Start your Cookout Lunch Ride at my mountainside farm, Randall Glen. We'll match you up with a horse that's just right for you. Whether you’ve ridden all your life or never been on a horse, we have the mount for you! Some of your party more comfortable with horsepower than horses? They can join you at our outpost with our Campfire Cookout Hayride--the perfect ride for family groups, grandparents, toddlers. Everybody’s welcome! Mount up and we’ll ride through some of the prettiest countryside in the Smoky Mountains. You’ll ride over scenic hills through gentle farmland. You'll see log cabins, rushing creeks, wildflowers, and great mountain views. At our creekside outpost we’ll set the horses to graze. While we get the fire going you can explore, wade in the creek, pitch a game of horse shoes, pick an armload of wildflowers. Or just relax with some lemonade. We’ll grill a steak and chicken lunch over the wood fire and you’ll sit down to a big feast. Top it off with fresh fruit, toast some marshmallows over the fire. Then we’ll ride back to the farm and you can visit with our friendly farm animals—and cuddle some barn cats too!

With the Campfire Lunch Ride I combine two of my greatest loves--horseback riding and cooking. I have ridden all my life, and have more than 40 years' experience in leading trail rides. And besides having owned a cafe and a food truck, I have years of cooking hearty meals over an open fire--there's nothing better than feasting outdoors by a wood fire!
