What you'll do
Vegetarian / Vegan Cookery Experience, ideal for those who love to cook and eat. Meet and greet, offer local herbal tea and coffee, with plenty to keep you going through the morning. This is a group cookery activity, fully guided and supported. Introducing, an explanation of our seasonal recipes and what we will be cooking and eating today. All recipes are eaten and shared together over a relaxing lunch. I'll be with you every step of the way to guide you through our menu. Please let me know about any food allergies. Vegan options are available. 10:00 – 13:30 Shared group cookery class. Chickpea Falafel with a yogurt and cucumber dip. Coconut Vegetarian Korma, my favorite, with oven baked Pilaf Mushroom Rice. Vegetarian Spicy Roll, spicy layers of sweet potatoes, chick peas, cashew nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, feta cheese and black olives served in home made pastry, a delicious center peace for the perfect lunch. Mellon, cucumber and mint salad. Vegan Chocolate Mousse Vegan Redberry and Turmeric cheese cake. 13:30 – 14:30 Lunch, time to enjoy the food of our labours. Enjoy the lunch we have prepared served in the garden weather permitting, or more conventionally in our dining room, should the weather be a little inclement. Bring your own wine or beer, herbal teas and coffee are available.

I'm co founder of Riboudin retreats, in beautiful Normandy, France. I have a passion for good vegetarian food, and have been cooking Retreat food for several years now. I originally trained as a midwife and then Mindfulness teacher, finding my little piece of heaven to turning it into a calm oasis. We believe in nourishing you, with good food, from the inside out. Over the years we have developed seasonal vegetarian recipes, using homegrown fruits and vegetables and foraged foods, where necessary we buy locally. We aim to delight our guests and share our recipes with you.

Where you'll be
Cookery lesson and lunch takes place in our home, we welcome you as friends, in our kitchen, dining room and large garden. We are fortunate to have 10 acres of garden an ancient wild woodland that blooms with seasonal daffodils and bluebells, we live in a beautiful Normandy long house with 400 year old wooden beams with a traditional thatched roof. A little piece of heaven, where you will be most welcome and nourished from the inside out.
Things to keep in mind
If requested, the host can accommodate the dietary needs listed. You must let the host know before the experience if you’d like an accommodation.
Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.
