What you'll do

Madrid is so nice and has so many different areas that you’ll need more than one day, but I’m used to walking around and looking for the best my city has to offer.
I’d like to share this experience with you: from the oldest city, or Augsburgo period of Madrid: Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Food'Market, Royal Palace... till the Borbons one, three hundred years old, Prado museum, City Hall, Retiro Park, Literary Quartet...
We can also stop for tapas and wine, and visit some local shopping spots...I may invite you to our Christmas (normally but may eat full year as is delicious :) cake and churros!!
I promise that you’ll experience the best of Madrid in just 3 hours: Art, bocadillo de calamares, shopping...

I prefer do private tours, so between 3 and 7 persons let me know and will be just for you.

Our guide, Paloma, was fantastic. Being a former journey and teacher, she provided insight into the culture, tastes and viewpoints of the people of Madrid. Paloma was a delightful and knowledgeable guide. A lifelong Madrilena, she went out of her way to make not only our tour with her but our entire stay in Madrid wonderful. She has been sending me recommendations on WhatsApp for museums, restaurant recommendations and day trips and even gave us free tickets to the Reina Sofia museum. Our private tour with her went over 45 minutes after the end and she did not mind. I feel like we got to see a huge portion of the city from a local perspective which is something I’ll never forget.

Palamo is a wonderful, warm-hearted, caring guide. She greeted us with a lovely welcome gift and had us try the traditional pastry at the Bakery meeting point. Paloma is very knowledgeable and immersed us into the culture during our walking tour. She also was kind enough to stop at specialty stores to purchase typical items, such as Turron and Churros con Chocolate. Paloma was concerned about my injured knee, where she went on her own time to the Farmacy for me. She recommended other important sites for us to visit the following day as well as a fabulous traditional Flamenco experience. We ended the tour adding Paloma as a special friend to our contacts and would love to see her again in the near future! I highly recommend this tour and ensure you will feel special :)

Paloma is a charming person with a real knowledge about the city. We had just one evening to explore the space and in this short time she managed to give us the taste (sometimes quite literally by taking us to her favorite places to sample food for free) of Madrid. I appreciated her warm demeanor and her ability of putting us at ease. We left feeling as if we were friends. At the end she recommended to us a fantastic flamenco show.
