What you'll do

Bake and chow down on delicious, nutritious, allergen-free baked goods! Allergen-free means they have no gluten, dairy, soy, corn, eggs, nuts, or refined sugar. You'll learn principles and techniques to make allergen-free baked goods while making:

* Decadent Cinnamon Wheels
* Heavenly Banoffee Pie (British banana-toffee pie)

After the recipes are completed, you'll sit down to savor them with a cup of tea: earl grey, green jasmine, or tulsi.

You'll go home with a LOT more knowledge about nutrition, plus a recipe booklet with everything you made in the class. Be prepared to feel excited to bake more treats at home!

NOTES:

1. We also offer two other cooking classes:
* Vegetarian or vegan Ayurvedic (traditional Indian) cooking class + dinner called "Cooking with a health coach: Indian"
* Paleo Brain Food cooking class + dinner called "Cooking with a health coach: Brain Food."

2. This class is kid-friendly! All kids ages 9 and up are welcome.

This was more than just a baking class and SO MUCH FUN! From the time I walked into their charming home they made me feel so welcome. I learned proper measuring and baking techniques and a whole new world about baking with allergen substitutes. There's way more options than I think most people know! Ever heard of Tigernut flour!? Libbies expertise in this area is impressive and she's so personally passionate in her food explorations you can't help but want to experience every bit with her to soak up that great energy! Everyone in class received her gluten-free flour substitute guide explaining flour types to help one choose when substituting in a recipe; they're all quite different. It's awesome! She loved answering all our questions while Margaret demonstrated techniques. I don't personally have allergies but much of my community does so when I bake for a potluck these will be my go to lessons. Going into the class I was most excited for the cinnamon swirls....but that pie was INCREDIBLE. I'm craving another slice now. I liked my cinnamon swirls even better in the fridge for 8hrs. I would love to retake this class with my mom or a group of friends and if your partner is into it, it'd be a sweet day-date! Margaret and Libbie thanks for such a special time. The desserts over tea on china were an extra lovely touch!

This was my first time taking a cooking class and it was just like in movies!!! There was an amazing health coach, cooking magic (how did it become so dense all of a sudden????), lovely touches and just amazing food. I couldn't believe how good the food was and that I actually made it! And all the ingredients were so healthy. I am constantly thinking about the leftover Cinammon swirls in my fridge. And the pie was just heavenly. We had a formal tea party with royal settings and I felt like I am in a palace! Anyway, I have to check out the other cooking classes offered from these wonderful ladies. And I would definitely recommend this class to everyone.
