Krakow History Walk with Rudolf

What you'll do

One thing I certainly want to tell anybody coming to Kraków is that exploring it without some way to get to know what's what and why it is there is a tremendous waste. It is that way because Kraków is exceptionally rich in capital H History. Monuments, stories and legends go back to the beginning of the Polish nation all the way to the present day, right in the "Heart of Poland".

I offer my own take on how to present to you all that unfolded and engraved itself into the streets of my town.
Have I mentioned I was born and raised in Kraków? Well, I am a local through and through and there are a certain perspective and emotional charge in me that I hope to pass onto you.
I want to give you the general idea of the history of Poland which I cut into digestible and narratable chunks that will also relate to things that you will be able to touch and see for yourself. We will go from the Old Town to the Castle on the Wawel hill and anchor more than a dozen times to talk about what you see and how does that tie into the city in a meaningful way.
See you there!
Other things to note

Check the weather and suit yourself according to your needs :) I will remind you of that a day before.

My name is Rudolf and I have the pleasure and privilege of having lived my life in the royal city of Kraków. I have always been a history geek. I take great enjoyment from meeting new people, listening to their stories and getting to know their perspective.
All the things that i enjoy come together when I am guiding through my city. I shall give you not only the knowledge but also my enthusiasm towards Kraków.

Superb introduction of the historical city, it’s inhabitants and Polish culture. We brought our dog with us on the walking tour and we all had a great time despite lightly raining. That’s a testament to the energy of our excellent guide!

Rudolf is an incredible storyteller and a very knowledgeable tour guide. He shares many interesting facts alongside some urban legends and little details that only a local would know. He also takes time to understand your interests and to adapt to them. I would wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful tour!

Rudolf is an amazing and enthusiastic storyteller who knows how to transmit his fascination about his hometown's history and legends to you! He is friendly and approachable while at the same time being extremely professional, which makes you feel you're in very good hands! At the end of the tour, we all had the feeling that time had flown by very quickly and Rudolf's stories and excellent humour had helped us connect as a group! Thank you again for the amazing experience, Rudolf! We can't wait to come back!
