What you'll do

Come join me for a fun afternoon (or evening) and an Introduction to Mala beads: Its origin, meaning, and how to use your Mala. Infused with the power of your intention, you'll learn to make your own personal Mala to provide healing, offer energy boosts and inspire your dreams, mindful living, and meditation.

Each participant will receive 108 wooden beads and will be guided to design their Mala, selecting from a wide variety of charms and semi-precious stones. Using elastic cord, the Mala will be designed so that it can be worn as a necklace and/or a bracelet. As a closing ceremony, I will lead the group with a short meditation, using your new Malas that you can easily add to your day for a 'touch' of healing, peace, power, and a reminder that "You Got This"!

Your Mala will be yours to enjoy as a meaningful souvenir... a beautiful piece of handcrafted jewelry, mindfully made with love and intention... made by you!
Other things to note
This experience is open to everyone along various points of their spiritual journey. There is no right or wrong when it comes to meditation beads or jewelry. Just you and your awesome vibe!

I aspire to inspire a life of joy, wellness, and mindful living. With a deep love of outdoor pursuits, I also teach yoga, stand up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking and host yoga adventure retreats, which include Mala making workshops! And I love my Mala - and wear it. All. The. Time. It calms me, energizes me, and provides a sense of peace and power that I can access with a simple touch. I would be so honoured to meet you and share this experience with you.

Where you'll be

The workshop will be held outside at Bayview Park, with its beautiful waterfront and large covered pavilion. Depending on the weather, we may be under the pavilion or on the grass on my outdoor mat. Inspired by the Georgian Bay waters, we'll harness her energy as part of our closing meditation of gratitude.
