What you'll do

Let's enjoy the outdoors off the beaten path, let's avoid the crowd.

We will explore these beautiful places in small groups, enjoying a more custom and personal experience.
We will be hiking in the amazing area of the Rocky Mountains, gorgeous meadows above the treeline, majestic forest, turquoise lakes, glaciers, creeks and all of that surrounded by wonderful peaks and stunning views.

We will meet at a coffee shop where we will discuss where we want to go on our adventure. Let me know your expectations. You will need your own transportation.

Allow me to guide you in this gorgeous experience. The pace of our adventure will be steady but comfortable. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the day while taking pictures, snacks and eating lunch in an area where everyone can rest and enjoy the views and the peace and quiet of nature.

You will learn the tales of people, explorers, who contributed to the history of these places and what we see in the present day. We can also talk and learn about wildlife like Grizzly Bears and plants who live within the Rocky Mountains.

Daniel is a friendly and knowledgable guide. He is experienced and smart so we felt safe having him as our guide. Because of covid we did not have any other person joining our hike so I like that the start time is flexible.

Daniel is an outstanding guide. He's very kind, considerate and knowledgeable, he was very flexible about rescheduling our hike around weather issues. He displayed excellent understanding of the areas we hiked -- the history, the environment and wildlife, and we felt very safe and secure in his presence. We recommend him highly and wouldn't hesitate to hike with him again.

This was our first mountain hiking experience and I would describe the intensity level as moderate in terms of elevation gain and distance. I consider myself to be a moderately fit individual in my mid-40’s, since I exercise frequently and am not overweight at all. My wife, who also went on this hike, is in her early 50’s and never exercises and is slightly overweight. While I had no problem completing this hike, my wife informed Daniel prior to us beginning the hike, that she might need to make more frequent stops to catch her breath due to the difference in altitude from Florida, where we live, as well as her lack of regular exercise. Daniel assured her that we would pace the hike to accommodate her needs. Daniel did, in fact, pace the hike to accommodate my wife, while ensuring us both that we were doing a great job hiking the trail. He stopped frequently to make sure she was okay, as she was hiking a little bit behind us most of the time. He made sure to offer us an opportunity to drink water or eat snacks many times during the hike. He was also very conversational, sharing information about the area, as well as his own personal stories. Daniel also carried an emergency communication device and bear spray and had walking sticks for our use, which were very useful in helping us maintain our balance along the hike, as well as reducing leg fatigue. Daniel was knowledgeable, caring, enthusiastic, and friendly during our entire hike. My wife felt that without Daniel’s empathetic support and encouragement, she probably would not have been able to complete the hike on her own. She was very happy that she successfully completed her first mountain hike without giving up. Both my wife and I highly recommend Daniel as a hiking guide to enhance your hiking experience with his knowledge, interesting personal stories, guidance, and support.

I contacted Daniel requesting a hike with mountains and a lake and minimal human traffic on the trail. Daniel delivered all that and then some. The response to messages was almost immediate, Daniel kept us updated all the way up to meeting time. He was super knowledgeable about the area we were hiking and had even been over the trail a couple of days prior to check it out. We felt safe the entire time. Daniel was more than happy to chat with us and told us loads about the area and nature. Our hike was a mini adventure through forest and over patches of snow. We had a picnic at the most beautiful lake and there was no one else there, we passed two other people the entire hike. We climbed a little, up to an incredible waterfall and got to soak the trail in on the way back down and through again. Book Daniel! You will not be disappointed, he’s a super nice guy, and it was just like hiking with a friend.
