This trip to Chichen Itza was absolutely magical. The 6am departure time can be scary but it is definitely worth it, we avoided the heat and crowd. Alejandra is an amazing guide, she knows how to keep the visit interesting with a pace that was neither to fast or slow. The van for the transport is large and comfortable so you can get some additional sleep on the way there/back. We absolutely recommend the this experience!

This tour was given so thoughtfully and with attention to details. You can get a sense for Alejandra’s passion to give guided tours that are not only memorable but make you feel well taken care of. Her knowledge of the area and how easy it was to listen to her and stay engaged as she explain details of Mexico and the ruins. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a intimate tour guide experience please choose this one, you won’t regret it.

Great option to really see this magical site without the buzzkill of larger tours/crowds. Andrea was a great host with a lot of knowledge about Chichen Itza and made the whole experience awesome. Definitely the best option!

This tour was absolutely amazing, and is a MUST if you are visiting the Yucatan peninsula. Alone, sure, it is one of the 7 Wonders of the World. But having Andrea guide us through the ancient archeological site with a passionate delivery of information regarding Chichén Itzá’s illusive but fascinating history truly immersed us in the experience. We packed our week in Tulum with incredible food, drink, sight seeing, and cenotes, but THIS was the highlight of the trip by far. Andrea, you and your team were amazing. Thank you for guiding us through an experience we will never forget.

I’ve spent the last couple of days trying to gather the correct words to accurately describe this absolutely wonderful tour experience, so I’ll do my best now. Traveling to Chichén Itzá with Alejandra was nothing short of spectacular. We had only been in Mexico for a half a day prior to this tour, but we knew almost instantly that this experience would be the highlight of our trip without a doubt. We were picked up bright an an early to make the drive to the geological site location, and the entire way was filled with excellent conversation about the history of the Mayans, history of Mexico, as well answering any other questions we could possibly think of pertaining to the subject. The main reason for our visit to Mexico was to see this magnificent World Wonder and learn everything that we could about the culture surrounding it, so traveling with Alejandra was all we had hoped for and much much more. It truly felt like we were traveling with an old friend, and for that Veronica and I are extremely grateful. When we arrived at the site, (one of the firsts ones there!!!!) we applied our new knowledge to the actual ruins, and walked around while Alejandra pointed out spots where the original coloring was still present (how cool!!!) and explaining different aspects of the landscape. We were then encouraged to do some more exploring on our own, and meet back at the van for some lunch. Due to COVID Alejandra had mentioned that lunch aspect of the trip was a little different from what they may have done in the past, but had also mentioned that in Mexico when families take road trips together, they load up tamales and all of the toppings in the back of their vehicles for everyone to enjoy on the go, so honesty I think this was more authentic to the overall local experience. Also everything we ate was AMAZING, so you’ll hear no complaints from me for enjoying a great meal with new friends in a typical manner. Overall Alejandra went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our day, learned something, and had an authentic experience. She also mentioned that depending on the time of year she does tours in other areas of Mexico, and Veronica and I cannot wait for the opportunity to meet with Alejandra in the future. Our day was absolutely perfect and the highlight of our trip.

Where to even begin?! Andrea was AMAZING!! Such a beautiful person and she was soo knowledgeable about the Mayan culture. Everything about this tour was perfect. She was so thoughtful...bringing us coffee and snacks for the morning, only using sustainable materials and providing food from local vendors. They care so deeply about protecting the environment and supporting the local Mayan and Mexican cultures. She also threw in a few surprises, but I won't spoil that ;) in terms of the tour, it was so perfect because we went early and were literally the first ones in! We got to see the old and new sides of chichen itza, when most people only see the new side. She taught us so much and also provided free time for us to explore. I have such a different appreciation and understanding of the Mayan culture. And she went above and beyond by taking us through a cute Mexican town on the way home. PLEASE go on this tour...it's been my favorite part of our trip!
