What you'll do

Once you arrive, we will get you checked in promptly to give us the maximum time on the water. After we've got you checked in, we will give you some basic paddle instructions and information about what you may see on the tour ahead! We'll then get you loaded up in your clear kayak and we're off! The paddle will last about 2-2.5 hours as it depends on what marine life we may see along the way and the skill level of each paddler! Don't worry - we will be sure to take plenty of pictures and give some awesome facts about local Jupiter, wildlife, and nature on our few picturesque stopping points! There will even be a chance for you to hop out of your kayak and enjoy the refreshing water along a sandbar! We'll loop back around and finish up right where we started! Our goal is providing the safest possible tour while maximizing your enjoyment! Be ready for lots of great local nature and marine life along the way! *Tours may need to be cancelled or rescheduled if wind conditions are too high*
Other things to note
The weight limit must be no more than 250 pounds per paddler and no more than 425 pounds when combined for both paddlers. Each kayak is tandem but can be taken as a single with odd numbered parties.

I believe that the best way to experience nature is in a completely clear kayak which is why I founded Get Up And Go Kayaking - Jupiter! Clear kayaking allows you to have an immersive perspective on the unique wildlife and nature we have here in Southern Florida - I like to think of it as having the best window seat to the 'real' Florida!

If you're not paddling with me, you'll be guided by Chris, Martha, Max or Shelby, all well-traveled local Jupiter lovers with backgrounds in adventuring and hosting!

Where you'll be

We'll start at the beautiful Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina! We'll paddle along the nature-filled shorelines of the beautiful Jupiter waterways. We'll make our way down towards the famous Jupiter Lighthouse! Pending on the tide, we will have multiple locations to stop, get out, and enjoy the water at a sandbar or along the shoreline in search of local marine life!

We took a morning tour and Max was our guide. We had the best time!! Max was so knowledgeable about the area and local wildlife. We lucked out, seeing a manatee and cushion sea star (up close)! Loved that we had the freedom to explore a bit and option to hop out and walk on the sandbars. Overall, a great experience that we’d love to do again!

This was a very exciting and fun excursion but the weather did not cooperate. It was about 55 degrees and cloudy so it was hard so see clearly through the kayaks and it was cold. Also, due to the cold temps, the wildlife seemed to be hiding. Our guides did their best and were able to locate two huge starfish (and one of the guests found another), a few large hermit crabs in conch shells, and two juvenile sea turtles. I would love to go back on a day when it is sunny and warm. The guides did wonderful despite the weather and did all that they could to make our experience the best it could be.

My trip with Chris was great! We didn’t manage to see much wildlife and the wind made it harder to paddle as a single person, but we stopped in the sandbar and I chose to stay there until our return back. The water was so beautiful and there were lots of conch shells, crabs, and plant life.

Chris was a great tour guide for us. He really made us feel safe and comfortable, and was great at explaining things as we went along. Super nice guy. It was cloudy on the day that we went so it was harder to see in the water, but we were still able to spot some manatees and walk on the sandbar. Overall a great experience!

The experience was fun but it is not worth $65 and we didn’t see much sea life- our tour guide was pleasant and friendly but didn’t speak much about the ocean life or the area. Definitely looks different in pictures
