A truly one of a kind scenic hike in Santa Cruz County. This trail is incredibly peaceful and uncrowded. Transportation provided if needed. FIVE TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EXPERIENCE 1. CONNECTION TO EARTH I'll lead you through a guided meditative hike then crawl into the most amazing natural tree fort! We'll stop a few times to take photos and embrace the beautiful surroundings. Otherwise, this is a "no technology" hike, I ask that you please be respectful of this rule and be mindful of others around you if you need to use a phone. 2. CONNECTION TO BODY We'll be doing a 2-mile loop along the sea cliff then down to a beach. Prepare to do a few mobility warm-up exercises to ready our bodies for the movement ahead. 3. CONNECTION TO BREATH We will do an optional 15-minute Wim Hof breathwork exercise, in which we will be taking very deep connective breaths in increments of 40 seconds. In the tree fort. 4. Wilder Ridge Loop Trail is truly a hidden gem, it's a gorgeous, cliffside trail with a hidden path down to a secluded beach. We'll hike down to the beach for our picnic, breath work, and journaling exercise. All in all, it is a pretty flat trail so most people with a moderate level of fitness will be able to do it.
