What you'll do

For this trip, we travel down the historic Cowboy Trail to the Oldman River drainage. This beautiful landscape is situated within the Foothills of the Canadian Rockies and offers awe-inspiring vistas and streams with gin clear water. This is fly fishing at it's best.

This trips starts at a local fly shop in Calgary where we get the latest fishing report and any last minute flies and gear for our adventure. From there, we will drive for approximately 2.5 hours to the Oldman River drainage where we will gear up and fish for Westslope Cutthroat Trout (and maybe the odd Whitefish & Bull Trout) in some of the most beautiful water in Alberta.

These are some of my favourite fishing destinations, and I would love to share my knowledge and experience of this area with you.

*This experience is only available between June 16 - October 31.

**Please note that I list multiple experiences and this is an issue with the AirBnB calendar (booking) system. PLEASE contact me if a date is unavailable and I will check my availability.
Other things to note

My dad and I absolutely loved our fly fishing trip with Peter along the Cowboy Trail. He was very knowledgeable about all things outdoors, and helped us enjoy an experience we would not have been able to do solo. Peter got us geared up and ready to wet wade with an array of different flys. He was patient with our casting ability and was there to patiently guide us with his expert knowledge. The lunch he provided was delicious, healthy and met our dietary needs. I would highly recommend booking a trip with Peter for people of all ages and skill levels. We could not have asked for a better Father-Daughter Day! Can't wait for next year.
