What you'll do

We will be leaving Sayulita at the agreed time. Depending at the time agreed,we will be passing thru multiple beach towns where the group could decide if they want to visit the towns that are on the way for lunch or for a simple walk. One of the towns that I recommend is ¨Rincon De Guayabitos¨ it has two beautiful islands that could be enjoyed from the beach shore...Depending if we decide to stop at a town or not,we will be making a stop for snacks or perhaps fresh coconut water, even do refreshments and snacks will be provided. As we walk to the ¨Kings Sanctuary¨ we will be enjoying different petroglyphs as well as a river and different fruitful trees such as mango, passion fruit, guanabana that being in season we would be able to cut right of the tree to enjoy its flavor. After a 2 km walk/hike we will be arriving the main petroglyph area where we will be resting and taking pictures, having snacks and maybe bathing in a small body of water that was used to be cleansed in one time. Before we head back the group will decide on a visit to a different town.
Other things to note

I'm an athlete that enjoys trail running and walking the jungle.... I love nature and history of places that I visit. I have become very familiar with the local jungle that sorounds us and came to explore some of the treasures that are hidden within. Living in United States most of my life(California,Arizona,Las Vegas) and being born in Mexico, I always wanted to come back to my roots and explore our history. I decided to come to the state of Nayarit to start my journey and living here for a few years, seems like I have so much to explore and decided to call this place home.

Where you'll be

¨Guayabitos¨ is a small fishermen town that has become a tourist point for families and people that enjoy calm waters, it has two islands that prevent big waves hitting shore and is were we could stop on the way to AltaVista or on the way back for lunch or early dinner. We also will be stopping for refreshments for our walk in the jungle. We will start our walk 2km before the main petroglyph area enjoying the views of mountain and rivers.

We really enjoyed the experience with Juan: he's very knowledgeable about the area and its nature. The ruins were magical and they really made you feel immersed in a far different history. On top of that, Juan's was great at making conversation and make us feel welcome :)

Juan is very friendly and welcoming. This trip requires quite a long driving time, and we never felt awkward during the drive, because he is very easy to chat with. Also he lived in U.S and our conversation with English was great. This was a very unique experience and we enjoyed. Also he is very flexible and ready to support the plan for you. Tips: if you are one of those people whom bugs love to eat, please wear a long pants. I wore short pants and after the trip, I found many bites from bugs from the jungle walking. 🦟🐜😩
