What you'll do

We shall begin this wonderful tour at the Kenya National Archives where we shall view a number of paintings, artifacts and photographs representing Kenya's vast cultural history.
We shall then stroll through the street of Moi avenue to the August 7th Memorial Park along Haile Selasiee. This is a memorial site for the bomb blast that happened in 1998. This site is a symbol of the spirit of patriotism among Kenyan nationals.
The Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) on Harambee avenue will be our next destination. A spectacular view of Nairobi city can be viewed from this building.
The Masaai market will be our next stop from those souvenirs and all sorts of African crafts so be ready to get lost for choice.
Other things to note
Kindly ensure that you carry a hard copy of passports and wear comfortable shoes since we shall stroll quite a bit

I am a curious traveler that found a home in Nairobi a few years ago. Prior to my move in Nairobi, i would visit for short periods so i did not really get to explore the amazing places around the city. As soon as i permanently moved to Nairobi, i made it a point to discover amazing sites that i would love to share with you on this awesome trip.
I will be hosting you with my co-host Purity who is a young vibrant lady that loves meeting new people

I had a very nice time with Cynthia during this tour. We walked around central Nairobi area where Cynthia took me to some historical sights and buildings of Nairobi where someone can learn a lot of things about the history of Kenya. She took me to the highest place in Nairobi where someone can enjoy a panoramic view of the city and also to the Kariokor market where she helped me bargain and get a very good price for some local handicrafts which I bought. I appreciated the fact she had brought me water for the tour and also when I told her I am a bit hungry she took me to a local restaurant where I could try the local cuisine. It was a very interesting experience for me and I recommend it for everyone who wants to get a good introduction to Nairobi and learn some Kenyan history.
