What you'll do

When you arrive, we’ll introduce each other and I'll give you the SUP safety briefing about the river. I’ll show you how to get on the board and some basic paddle strokes.

We will then get you onto the board and you’ll get used to using the board in a kneeling or sitting position, then we will start our journey down river.

Along the way, we’ll see lots of local wildlife, temples and we will teach you lots of skills on the board. We’ll also have some fun with a game or two, all related to learning! However, we are flexible, so we’ll always ask if you want to learn more skills, or just enjoy the paddling experience for a while.

We will take lots of photos and video clip footage along the way using a really good camera and we will share the footage with you via email.

We also conduct intermediate and advanced level sessions in more remote locations once you have completed your first experience.
Other things to note
We can still take you safely if you are a non or weak swimmer, but let us know.
We can suggest a nice, cheap but good, local place to have a meal, close to our location, not included in our price.

Where you'll be

You will see Kanchanaburi from a unique natural perspective, the river.
You will be passing under the famous Bridge Over the River Kwai, which I picked for its historical relevance to the region and the photo op it presents!
We will also visit parts of the river that are impassable by boat or kayak, so we are the only people to visit these parts of the river.

I really enjoyed SUP down the River Kwai. My instructor, Pep, was very thorough with going over safety instructions and SUP tips prior to going out on the water. Once on the water, Pep, went over more SUP paddling tips which was awesome because I've done a lot of SUP back at home, Canada, but have never had an instructor to show me moves on a SUP board--so I learned a lot of new paddling moves!! Thank you Pep😊🙏😎

Fantastic trip! I had 2 experienced guides and learned many new techniques relating to SUPing, including how to get back on the board when having fallen off while trying some of the more difficult techniques. Not only that but mant pictures were taken along the way as well as guides pointing out temples and wildlife. I would definitely do it again and recommend taking the morning trip when the water higher and before the heat gets to intense. Plan on falling off and getting wet but know yoir in good hands. Bring a lot of water, you will want more than you think.
