What you'll do
Get on your bike - we are going to see Moscow through the eyes of locals! Moscow is rather tricky for bike-lovers and only with us you will feel safe and confident about the ride=)
Our ride will go through some untypical streets and alleys towards the Moscow river embankment. We will ride alone waterfront and enjoy probably the most iconic views of the city. We will pass by the Cathedral of Christ The Savior and legendary Red October chocolate factory and Muzeon park.
After that, we will head to a cozy non-tourist district. This area has a unique shape with lots of historical buildings, where only locals live. We will visit the backyard of the local artist workshop which used to belong to a famous Soviet architect Vera Mukhina. We will learn the history of "Art Nouveau" architecture style and eyewitness some of the best examples off the beaten path. At the end of the tour, we will try some local food refreshing drinks stopping at the local market.
This tour is kids friendly, if you have any doubts, feel free to contact us with the request, we will try to adjust the tour to your needs.
Other things to note
Don't be afraid of bad weather - rain is not a problem, I will provide you the raincoats
In case if strong rain we always can hide in the cafe or market.
Instructions on bicycling in Moscow included!

Hi guys! We are a group of friends: Olga, Sasha and Kolya. We all live in Moscow and during summer season we go everywhere by bike. Moscow is rather convinient city for a bike-lovers, as it is flat and full of parks. But not everyone knows how to ride a bike in big megapolis avoiding car traffic and crowds of people in most tourisitc spots. We know how to make your bike ride the most enjoyable! Olga and Sasha participated multiple times in bike competitions and festivals actively promoting green tranport; Kolya is a big fan of night bike trips and he is an expert in long distance bike rides, he rides 20 km daily from home to his workplace. Moscow is very beautiful and huge, many cool places are quite far from the center and it is easier to reach them bike. Especially with such awesome team as us!

Where you'll be
Moscow river embankment with iconic views of the city.
Patriarch bridge and The Cathedral of Jesus Christ the Savior - simply the best view on the Kremlin and Moscow river. Come back here at night on your own!
Prechistenka Moscow district and Usachevsky food market - very special, not a typical destination for the tourists. That's where locals live

We are a family of 5 from Australia and this tour was perfect. Our youngest is 8 and he had no concerns with riding a bike for this tour. After seeing so many sites that we would have not found ourselves, we finished with an amazing dinner in the food markets. Sasha our guide was outstanding. I totally recommend this tour.

Katya and her husband Dima were our guides; Katya normally does the tours alone, but given it was a weekend, we had the added bonus of Dima there to take lots of photos along the way. What we liked the most was that it was not a touristy situation at all. Rather, we had a chance to experience a pleasant, unhurried bike ride in lovely areas , but likely places we would never have chosen to visit on our own because they aren't known to tourists. It felt like we were meeting up with friends and they were showing us around their favorite neighborhoods and we were hanging out for a nice afternoon. We rode along the river; saw a couple of different residential areas with a variety of interesting architecture; saw a number of parks; and ended at a vibrant (and somewhat upscale) food market with dozens of types of restaurants and fascinating culinary options ranging from butchers to gelato to honey to teas and produce that would make your eyes pop. Katya made sure that we had foods we hadn't tried before, stopping at vendors to ask them to let us sample local pickles, cheeses, honeys, and even caviar. We had food from a Georgian restaurant-- HIGHLY recommend. I even had a tarragon flavored soda pop- way more delicious than I would have expected. We loved the whole experience! Few Muscovites bike from place to place, but it was relaxed, safe and enjoyable. We highly recommend!! Thank you...

The tour was great experience - first it happened that I was the only one that day on a tour so I could enjoy personalized tour and second the rain starting in the middle turned it into adventure and enabled to see the city in different way.
Nikita was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable yet friendly and easygoing. He shared stories surrounding historical facts that made me better understand people and culture as well as his personal story, so at the end I felt more like talking with a friend than being guided.
I had some concerns how it will be biking in such a huge city where I didn’t see many biking paths - but in first few minutes Nikita showed there is nothing to worry about - he explained the route, went at comfortable place and always checked if I’m following. So it was very nice ride.
I definitely recommend seeing city on a bike with Nikita!
