What you'll do
After presenting each other, i give you an apron and first we wash our hands.
We work in small groups ( 2 or 3 people ), and I give you all the kitchen equipments to prepare the mix crepes.
Just a little quizz about crepes before the preparation of the recipe.
I show you some little tricks to have the best result.
We put the mix in the fridge ( the rest period is very important and it's one of the secret for good crepes ).
During this time I show you some cooking secrets.
After that, everybody cook by himself the crepes. Sure you'll be as good as any Frenchy, maybe even more.
You enjoy this "tea time" with farm apple jus, ciders coming from little French producers and you own crepes added with homemade sweeties : chocolat, jams, salted butter caramel, ...
You can answer me any how-to or why questions.
We finish this two convivial hours doing photos and giving you the recipe.
A special gift will be offer for you remembering this great afternoon.
Other things to note
It's possible to book a private cooking class with an extra charge.
For example, i can open a week end class or an evening class ( only monday, tuesday or wenesday 7.30 PM - 9.30 PM ) but ONLY IF you are more than 4 people.
The new prices is 50€/person for an evening class and 60€ for a week end class.
Please send me a message for the disponibilities.

We had a great time making crepes with Stephane. I appreciate his patience. We were late because we had to deal with a crisis. (My 13 year old daughter was separated from me on the metro, we had to go to the police station to get her!) He allowed us to come 90 minutes late and have our crepes. We were hungry and happy to celebrate finding her. He was very accommodating, and offered us any hot or cold drinks, and fillings for our crepes. My daughters enjoyed it. His caramel sauce is the best I have ever had. He showed us a special method of preparing butter that I can use in other cooking too. The class takes place in his restaurant, so there is plenty of room. You can see how a a real crepe restaurant works. Keep in mind the fillings will all be sweet, because gallette is the savory crepe and you will be making sweet crepes. If you expect veggies and cheese in your crepe for dinner you may have to arrange it ahead of time. I am still waiting for him to send the recipes to me, but I expect he will

Stephane is an amazing host! We had an issue with our hotel accommodation that caused us to be late to our experience and he was very patient and flexible. Not only did he wait for us but he extended our time so our group of 8 could get the full crepe making experience! We had 4 kids with us and they were all so happy to get to make crepes and even happier about the great taste! When we come back to Paris we will definitely do this class again and support his crepiere business! You won’t regret this class and that caramel sauce is a must try before you leave this earth! Hands down this was the highlight of our trip!

Such an amazing experience with Stephane who was so friendly and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time and recommend it to anyone who would like to learn about the history of crepes as well as the making. It was an extremely special experience during our vacation. He is very thoughtful about every part of the experience and sent us on our way with huge smiles on our faces.

Simply brilliant - not only is Stephan a master crepe and galette maker - he has such interesting stories and historic facts to share! He also taught us so many professional tips - I almost cannot believe it - but we managed to make really nice crepes at the end of the evening. We also loved the wonderful little gifts and his home made salted caramel sauce is to die for. A highly recommended experience.
