What you'll do

We created a special hiking path around the farm. Guests will be walking along dams, between oak trees and wild olive trees on the mountain side, coming down between vineyards to a beautiful spot, set up for picnics, which we offer in the price together with a wine tasting, where views are breathtaking, facing Table Mountain, Simonsberg, Drakenstein Mountains. Silence and peace will allow hearing and watching birds, antelopes and many other small animals. The walk is enjoyable to kids and experienced hikers.

Both Passionate about wine and Nature, Michela & Attilio, co-owners of AYAMA, are living in South Africa and on the farm since 15 years. Ayama is a beautiful farm on the slopes of Perdeberg Mountain and we would like to share our piece of paradise with guests from all over the world, loving Nature. Attilio is an experienced agronomist and knows plants, trees and fauna and especially those connected to the farm. Vineyards and vegetables are our passions, growing them on the farm. Walks between mountain and vineyards are the best time of the day for both.

Where you'll be

Around the small dam Ayama uses in summer for irrigation, there is a beautiful small natural forest. Oak trees and fynbos are the main stars of this spot. At the picnic spot, old and very big eucalyptus are offering shade. Comfortable and natural siting, looking at stunning views.
