What you'll do

One of the only things I do more regularly in Los Angeles than cycling is eating delicious food. This is not only one of the very best cities on the planet for cycling, it is home to some of the world's very best vegan food.

This experience is to really demonstrate how easy it is to navigate the city on bike and at the same time enjoy some of the best little food and drink stops in the neighborhood. I promise the best chocolate chip cookies you've ever had - vegan or not.

We'll grab bikes and head out for our obligatory first stop: coffee! From the bicycle-oriented coffee shop downtown, we'll set course for the Silverlake neighborhood, and warm chocolate chip cookies. I love eating my dessert first so on my tours, that's what we'll be doing! We'll burn the cookies off on the way back to return our bikes, where we will also enjoy a delicious vegan lunch on a patio by the river.

Looking to do something more custom or with a larger or private group? Inquire and we can see about adding a date or blocking off an existing date for you.
Other things to note
This is a ride for all levels though you should be able to ride 20 - 25 miles distance and a pace of 12 - 13 mph. If you require a bike, you will receive instructions on how to confirm the rental at VeloGuide.com.

We spend a lot of time in California and if you find yourself in LA or Hollywood and want to experience riding a bike like a local, Stephen is your go to VeloGuide! He loves riding bikes and exploring has put in thousands of miles exploring the roads and paths of Los Angeles.

Stephen moved out to Hollywood from the Midwest and still says he can't believe how lucky he is. Los Angeles is easily one of the best places in the world to live and cycle, you just need to know how to avoid the tourists and the traffic :-) Don't be surprised if he tries to convince you to move here as well; He just can't help it!

About VeloGuide. VeloGuide was formally launched in October 2017 as a bold new initiative to connect the travelling cyclist with a bike and a guide all across the globe. We are excited to be part of the Airbnb experiences community!
