What you'll do

Discover the soothing and healing power of drawing a mandala. The brain loves pattern and order so drawing mandalas can ease a frazzled brain, but also there are elements of creativity, which allow sparks of joy and the awareness that there are other ways to do any task. Mandalas are part of sacred geometry and have been used in spiritual practices - across many religions and for a more western-style personal development practice, additionally Carl Jung was a huge believer in the power of the mandala – the ‘sacred circle’ and drew one daily.
You will learn how to draw a simple seed of life to start your mandala and from there you discover endless ways to continue your pattern (or you may choose to add imagery to repeat or vary across sections). You may choose to colour in your mandala with a range of colouring pencils or just stick with a simple monochrome black and white. Once you have learned this simple technique I am sure you will be inspired to continue creating mandalas in your own time and find infinite ways to develop them.
