I have danced salsa since I was a kid, It has always been my passion and it is bigger when I share my knowledge with people from different countries and cultures who become friends. For that reason I have been teacher for over 5 years and I have created a dance school called salsahavana; join us and you will not regret

Saily was a very patient teacher. We Went through a lot of the basic moves and steps and were able to dance with partners to salsa music. Time flew by and it was really fun. I plan to keep practicing when I get home!

We had a magical experience learning Salsa at Salahavana with Saily. She had been recommended very strongly by someone we knew - so we had high expectations. And she exceeded those expectations on so many fronts The customer delight experience started with scheduling activities while we were still in California. Saily was extremely flexible and was able to accommodate a private session in our preferred timeslot on a Friday evening. She was also able to also arrange for other teachers for our (relatively) large group of 6. Thru these remote interactions I knew that I was dealing with a warm friendly person with a heart of gold The salsa lessons were held in a charming, intimate setting in Old Havana. Saily and her other instructors were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. We were all first timers, so Saily started with some basic moves. and they made pretty rapid progress over the two hours. We had loads of fun along there way, with much laughter and camaraderie. By the end of the two hours, we were doing some intricate moves - all thanks to Saily’s teaching abilities and instruction style Saily and a few of her fellow instructors then accompanied us (for an additional fee of course) to a local salsa club, where we were able to practice the salsa moves we had just learnt. To us it was simply unthinkable that absolute first timers like us would be able to make so much progress within a day. All credit for this goes to Saily and her team On the dance floor in this club, Saily and her colleagues also showed us some amazing advanced moves that left us speechless. She seemed to know a lot of people in the club who all echoed how great a teacher she is. That helped us realize that we were really privileged to have been taught by a master craftsman and a wonderful human being. We will cherish this experience for life To any of you who are headed to Havana and are looking to get initiated into Salsa, please look no further !!. It simply does not get better than Salsa with Saily at Salsahavana !!

Like everyone else we met in Havana, Saily was very friendly and helpful, as well as being an excellent and patient teacher for our group of eight beginners! We learned some simple salsa moves over the course of two hours and built up the confidence to practice them in bars and restaurants during the remainder of our trip! We had a fantastic time and everyone in our group loved the experience - many thanks Saily!

One of the things we were told we must do in Cuba is take a salsa class. I'm glad the class we chose was with Saily. We went during the peak season for Cuba (December/ January), but there were still only 2 sets of couples (4 people) in this class. It felt really intimate and Saily and her friend were able to give us really personalized tips/lessons and could really dedicate enough time to each person. I also like the pacing that Saily was going at. You learn so much in such a short amount of time, but we didn't feel like we were being forced to move forward faster than we were ready to go. There are so many salsa classes to choose from in Havana, but you can't beat Saily's patience, dedication and passion--not to mention how small and intimate her classes are compared to all the other salsa classes out there. Tip: Ask Saily and her friend to demonstrate how they would normally salsa dance at the very end of the class. It's amazing watching them dance naturally and is such a delight to watch them be masters in their craft.
