I met with Juan for a private tennis match on real clay courts in Punta del Este. Clay courts are not common in the United States, so this was a real treat. Juan took care of all the logistics, from location, court times, racquets, and balls. We spent our time rallying a bit to get comfortable on the clay surface, then played a set. Juan won, 6-2. I really enjoyed spending my morning with Juan. It’s obvious how much he enjoys tennis, and I felt lucky to spend some time with him.
