I have been working or playing in the outdoors all my life. I grew up surfing in Virginia Beach and the Outer Banks as a kid. As a teenager I worked for the Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service as an oceanfront lifeguard, which gave me basic first aid and safety skills and cultivated a deep awareness, respect and understanding of the ocean.

After high school I started my surfing travels and have since surfed Puerto Rico, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, the Canary Islands, Australia, Indonesia, Barbados and Canada.

We had a wonderful experience! Our guide, Scott, was super helpful and kind. We had an accident in the water and he got us out of our pickle while being so nice and professional. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

A very relaxing experience casually kayaking though the maritime forest while our host related knowledge about the area. The trip up the canal and back is at good pace for all fitness levels and there are plenty of stops to just take in the natural surroundings.

We loved our tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and it was very relaxing to paddle through the canals and see the wildlife. 10/10 would recommend! Great way to learn about some of the history of OBX through the lens of nature.

A great tour. It’s a very easy paddle that would be suitable for first timers. The tour through the forest is really nice and the tour guide is caring and great as well.

This is a great (COVID) friendly family experience! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. This is also a beginner friendly place to learn to kayak!

Pretty area for exploring. Expect a large group which will slow things down. Nonetheless a special part of the Outer Banks that you can only see from the water.
