In Photograph[eeee] walks, you, your life and this city are the subjects of photography and the subjects of you new experiences. In a small country like Singapore, much have being developed but much have also yet to be explored.

Learning the culture of a community is one thing and capturing the learning moments is another. Participants will learn the techniques of photography to better capture the moments while exploring this cultural-rich community. From the people to the architectures along the streets, much to be explored and engaged, much to be experienced and to exchange and share your precious memories. Photograph[eeee] walks let you learn the skills of capturing better photos and experience the streets of Singapore in an engaging ways.

2 to 3 hours is what it takes. What is best to learn about the streets of Singapore through the lens with a local photographer cum educator? I will be your photography teacher, your local guide and your new friend. Photograph[eeee] walks is the way to go. Explore, Engage, Experience and Exchange.

I was formerly a full time photographer (5 years) but turned teacher in a local school (8 years) before I decided to follow my passion and run photography classes/programmers of my own. Started my own sole-proprietorship in 2009 sharing my photography knowledges with students from many schools in Singapore. Taught photography in the a top school for 9 years as an artist-in-resident to an average 900 students a year. Many students have gained wonderful photography experiences and won numerous photography awards from photography competitions from the photography classes and photowalks I conducted over the past 10 years.

Where you'll be

Participants will tour Kampong Glam starting from the famous Masjid Sultan Mosque, a national monument, and explore the cultures within. Walking through streets of shop houses and end the walk at Haji lane, a popular spot in Kampong Glam where you get to experience where the local youth people frequent, the street of independent fashion boutiques and Middle Eastern cafes with lots of selfie opportunities.

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Guest requirements

Up to 5 guests ages 13 and up can attend. Parents may also bring children under 2 years of age.
