What you'll do

Cycle through the countryside of Hoi An on an exhilarating half-day bike tour that showcases rural life in Vietnam. Wheel through hidden alleyways through picturesque villages, farms, and fisheries.

The tour departs at 8:00 am at the meeting point - 03 Nui Thanh, Hoi An.

Within a few minutes, we stop to visit a local family making noodle in the traditional method. This savory rice flour noodle is a common breakfast staple in the countryside. The ride continues a beautiful village where we are welcomed into a family home. Our host is nearly 90, fought in the American war, and with his wife maintains a lovely family chapel on site.

Our guide Jack was knowledgeable and friendly. My mom and aunt were a little bit slow in cycling, Jack was very accommodating and slowed down for us. He shared some personal stories on local culture and point of view on the spiritual world which I find interesting and gave us a unique insight into local Vietnamese beliefs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the cycling trip which allowed us to experience the Vietnamese countryside and catch a glimpse into local livelihood and way of life. Highly recommend this to anyone who's looking to have a glimpse into Vietnamese countryside and village life.

We had an amazing bike tour with Vinh! Easily one of our favorite experiences in Hoi An. Highly recommend Vinh as a tour guide and the tour in general. Biking through the rice fields and visiting the different families was a very special experience. Vinh was a great guide and answered all of our questions and made us feel very welcome.

Not sure if it was because my guide was new, but his English wasn't especially proficient. I'm usually not too particular but there were two other guests on the tour that could barely understand him because of his pronunciation. To make things worse, another guest commented that she couldn't really understand him because of this, and he insisted that there was nothing wrong with his pronunciation. It made the whole atmosphere tense from that moment onwards. It made me pretty appalled that he was so defensive as I really felt that hosts should welcome constructive criticism so as to constantly improve their tours. I still had fun nonetheless but I just wished that our guide had a better attitude towards self improvement

Most definitely one of our Vietnam highlights. Ven, our guide, was gracious, polite and the ultimate professional answering all our questions and demonstrating his wealth of knowledge extremely well. The cycling was easy (perfect family activity with teenage kids) and a fantastic way to enjoy Hoi An’s beautiful country side. We loved learning about some of Hoi An’s unique customs and the families we visited were extremely hospitable. Lots of delicious snacks and skills learned along the way! I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hoi An. Thank you Trung & Ven
