About your host

I'm an experienced Dublin Tour Guide with over 400 5-star reviews to my name on Tripadvisor (under the Sandemans banner), and have been tour guiding for nearly 10 years now; I've led bus tours not only around Dublin but also to the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare and the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland (with Wild Rover Tours). I am regularly in demand with most of the main walking tour…

What we’ll do

Some places only come alive after dark, or at least in the later hours of the day - and indeed that might be said of Dublin. At evening time the city's majestic architecture, its wrought-iron railings and bridges take on an eerie, almost Dickensian look. And yet this is Ireland, and the nearby pubs teem with banter and the strains of lively Irish music played on the fiddle and on the tin whistle…

What I’ll provide

Coffee and Tea
Just in case the Irish rain puts in an unscheduled appearance.... the hot drinks are on me ;-)
Equipment
My grandfather used to say Ireland would be a great country if you could put a roof over it...he was right! I'll have a few umbrellas with me, just to make sure our notoriously unreliable weather doesn't spoil this experience for you ;-)

Where you'll be

We start at The Spire and General Post Office (HQ of the 1916 Rising) in O'Connell St., moving on to the Ha'penny Bridge and Temple Bar district. The grounds of Trinity College Dublin and Dáil Éireann - Ireland's House of Representatives - are our next stops, then we swing by the Mansion House (Home of Dublin's Lord Mayor) and conclude at the Molly Malone Statue beside O'Neills' Gastropub.
