Welcome to Sammalkallio's attic! This is where you stay in a spacious studio apartment on the top floor of a garage overlooking the forest and fields. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchenette, as well as a bathroom and dining area. In a quality double bed, you sleep well at night. In winter, heat and ambiance bring a wood-burning stove and a smooth air source heat pump in the summer. You can also rent two sup boards from us for 30e/day/board. Possibility to accommodate 1-2 people on a spare mattress.

Fully equipped, the cottage is surrounded by forests and fields, here you can enjoy nature. In summer you can stroll (200m) down to the lake or have a barbeque in the garden. In fall you can pick blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms in the forest. Or why not spend Christmas here! Please note that no parties are allowed!

From the terrace you can admire the lake scenery or the life of the forest. The sauna is right by the beach, by boat or sub-board, you can go rowing or fishing. You can always swim in the winter. Our stay was an amazing getaway! The cabin was so peaceful, surrounded by trees and birds. We managed to cook all our meals in the cabin, and Rasmus was responsive and helpful. Although there is no running water, there was enough water available for our needs. We even borrowed bikes to cycle to a nearby hiking nature area, which was the cherry on top. A great stay near the city!

A wonderful, private, safe, country get away. We loved feeling we were back in our country house of long ago, but knew we weren't alone, our super host was nearby. We got great sleep on the comfy beds, enjoyed beautiful walks, and recharged.
