Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Faial Island

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

Came here for 6 days peace and quiet break, beach & bars/restaraunts walkable. (On quiet roads) Near to airport, Mt Pico & Unisco World heritage area. Nice balcony/garden to chill on with great views of Mt Pico & Sao Jorge

We absolutely adored the house and were sad to leave. The views are amazing. And the house is really homey. Big kitchen nice and bright bedroom and big living. It is in the middle of the vineyards, great for beautiful walks. We hope to be back next year!

Fabulous stay in this lovely house. Guiomar is a fabulous host, we were welcomed with baking and cookies which was lovely after a long journey and came back to help out when we had a problem.. Weather usually was better at the house than other places on the island and we enjoyed sitting outside watching the waves. Flexibility on departure was really appreciated as our flight was delayed 2.5 hours at short notice. Thank you

Great stay at Patricia's, the accommodation is ideally located, close to Horta and the marina, with a very nice sea view. I recommend it!

We felt at home at Thomas's. It was a great place with a great spirit.

Maud's house is very pretty, the view of the ocean is magnificent. We had a very good stay, communication with Maud was quick and easy. We often cooked and there were all the necessary utensils, and even some provisions. Parking was more complicated, as indicated in the listing, and we preferred to park in front of the house on the side of the road. Cars pass quite close to the house, but once the shutters are closed the noise is limited. The house is damp and there is only one dehumidifier, if there could be one in each room it would be more effective. We recommend Maud's house for your stay in Pico!

Amazing view and accommodation had everything you needed. Shared pool and jacuzzi were great. Lovely stay!

Great house, amazing view and also great restaurant nearby. The hosts were very responsive and always happy to help. The WIFI was a bit temperamental but overall we had an amazing stay.

Absolutely stunning house and views - loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean, plus the pool is amazing. Loved the traditional decor / furniture too.

We felt right at home on Maresia's board. She took us everywhere we wanted to go, even if she had to fight at the cowroads. We had a clear starry night, a beautiful sunrise with top views of Pico, quiet evenings and beautiful excursions. Andresa and Bruno welcomed us very nicely and had prepared a great surprise for our honeymoon. That was really a highlight of our trip.

Romana was always easy to reach and very friendly. Everything was clean, and we could park the car right in front of the door. It’s a great place to stay if you want to experience the local way of life. Would definitely recommend!

The house was very nice! Especially the kitchen was very equipped and there was everything you would need (even local liquors and figs from the tree in the garden). Sandra is very helpful and did fix minor issues in no time. You can view the ocean from the balcony and the surrounding area is exceptionally beautiful. Sandra also made it possible for us to check out later, which made our return mich easier. Would come back!

Lovely house, you can see sunrise and sunset from the house! it has everything you need, great pizza place at walking distance but also everything available to prepare your own meal.

The house is very well equipped and furnished. The terrace above the sea permits fine breakfasts and lunches..... The house is close to the beach of Faja. The little restaurant/grocery Rumar is very conveniently in the centre of Praia da Norte. Horta is at 30 minutes and airport at 15 minutes by car. A car is necessary. One is very kindly and efficiently welcomed directly at the airport....

Loved the place/location. Would stay there again (and I do intend to visit Horta frequently). Only problem I had was with check in as I had to wait a little while. It was a total miscommunication by both of us. Honest mistake. I recommend this place for anyone wanting a great place in a great location (Central Horta with access to everything).

Large apartment, great location to do the attractions of Horta on foot or just enjoy the port and restaurants. The street is noisy. The bedroom window opens directly to this street, but with traffic jams, everything is going smoothly:)

We had a great experience. The house has amazing views. Wonderful to be part of Nossa Senhora das Dores celebration. Wonderful community. We fell in love with Pico and Baía de canas in particular and Look forward to being part of the community.
