Escape to a Sunny Apartment in a Quiet D.C. Suburb

Living Room amenities include a Smart TV and an Amazon Fire TV Stick. Fully equipped kitchen and cooking essentials. Lovely patio with seating area and herb garden. Comfortable bed and quality linens. Keurig coffee maker with coffee and tea provided. You have your own private entrance and patio area on an entire different side of the house so your experience can be as private as you like. The entire apartment which includes: washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen and patio area. Your host will be available for anything you need during your stay. My daughter/co-host, Bernadette, a young D.C. professional, can also answer any questions about the D.C. area, restaurants and other cool places to go. The apartment is in a quiet suburban neighborhood with easy access to the Washington area. It's a short walk to the FDA. Downtown Silver Spring is nearby, with its many restaurants, bars, Fillmore music venue, Ellsworth Dog Park, and a movie theater. The National Archives, University of Maryland College Park and UMUC are just few miles away. A Ride-On bus stop is located on the same block as the apartment. A Metro bus stop is 5 minute walk. Silver Spring Metro Station is about 4 miles away. There are a few parking garages at the Silver Spring Metro Station if you choose to drive there and then hop on the metro. Free parking on weekends and holidays at all Montgomery County Parking garages (some lots and street parking may require payment on Saturday). You could also Uber/Lyft to the metro station or all the way into the city (great option esp if you're splitting fare).

Beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom

Beautifully decorated and spacious home in a charming, Alexandria neighborhood near the King Street metro and the shops and restaurants of Old Town. Just a 16 minute drive to downtown Washington DC, with a chef's kitchen and a relaxing great room. The house is also just a 10 minute drive to the new MGM Casino or the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor. The "no parties in house" rule is strictly followed. If you want to have a party or an event, this is not the place for you.

My Guest House is attached to a single family home in the West End of Alexandria & offers 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath & kitchen. The bedrooms are spacious, one features a loft & balcony. The closest Metro stations are Van Dorn & Pentagon City (not walkable), you can easily access I-395 in less than 5 minutes. Many great ethnic restaurants in the immediate area. Only ~15 min to DCA, monuments/museums (7.8 miles to the Washington Monument), SW Waterfront, Old Town Alexandria, Capitol Hill (20 min).

Beautiful apartment in basement of house. Private entrance with keypad (no check-in). Large bedroom w/king size bed & separate den w/futon (playpen available). Full kitchen & living room. Full size washer/dryer. Off street (driveway) parking. No smoking. Convenient location in safe, friendly Arlington. Easy transit options to DC. Walk to several bus stops, 1-2 miles to 3 Metro stops, 10 minute drive to downtown. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate service animals due to household allergies.

Peaceful city retreat with easy access to all of DC! Our private basement suite includes a full kitchen, laundry, full bathroom, living room, separate bedroom, and wifi. Close to bus lines, 15 minute walk to metro, and off street parking available. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. Enjoy a charming basement apartment with private access in beautiful Old Town, Alexandria, just 2 blocks to the King St. Metro for a short ride into DC. Unit comes with a private bath and kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee machine), plus shared washer/dryer and backyard with fire pit and grill. Great alternative to a hotel. If you want to drive, there is free street parking (with guest pass) and we are just 15 mins to DC, 8 minutes to National airport.
