Beachfront holiday rental in Fão

I truly loved this rental, and will definitely stay here again. It is clean, spacious, and so conveniently located. Pedro and Inez were very helpful and communicative. I loved everything about Casa da Figueira!

Tivemos uma estadia simplesmente maravilhosa! O espaço superou todas as nossas expectativas – limpo, aconchegante, confortavel, bem equipado e com uma localização excelente. Cada detalhe foi pensado com muito carinho, o que fez toda a diferença. O anfitrião foi extremamente atencioso e prestativo, nos fazendo sentir em casa desde o primeiro momento. Recomendamos de olhos fechados e esperamos voltar em breve!

We loved staying here. It had a brilliant view of Porto and we were able to walk there easily (on either the high or low bridge) as well as around the local area and to the river and restaurants and Port cellars there. The apartment is spacious and really well appointed with a very comfortable sofa and a throw to keep you warm. The main bed was super comfortable- a rare find. The apartment was nestled right in the Roman arches with a road above us and one below. Being a lighter sleeper I closed the back windows and used the fan for air movement and to block out road noises. This compromise was worth it for the view!! Diana was a great host, responding quickly to questions and providing weather forecasts. We highly recommend Porto and this apartment

Great location for sun downers on the beach and a short walk to a river beach. Peaceful location and setting. We all loved the place.

We recently enjoyed a delightful week-long stay with our family at this enchanting house in the heart of Vila da Conde. The property's romantic outdoor architecture immediately sets it apart from the surrounding homes, creating a truly charming atmosphere. As a group of adults with children, we found the house to be perfectly suited to our needs. Located next to a small city park with a playground and cafés, the house offers easy access to local amenities. Historical sites and museums are within a short walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The spacious interior, including three bathrooms, was a major plus, and the outdoor pool, seating area, and grill provided ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. hôte exceptionnel, Je n’ai jamais eu un hôte comme cela. Extrêmement gentil serviable et réactif Rui est extrêmement professionnel et c’est comment accueillir. Rui était présent à notre arrivée afin de nous remettre les clés. Il nous a généreusement offert le petit déjeuner et nous a ensuite conseillé sur de nombreuses activités et restaurants au alentours. Sur le logement, Extrêmement bien situé et résidence très calme, il a tout ce que je recherche d’un Airbnb. L’appartement nous a été laissé dans un état irréprochable. Merci Rui

Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig und es gab reichlich Platz zum Entfalten. Das Ambiente ist eher zweckmäßig und nicht besonders heimelig aber uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Man ist dort privat untergebracht, aber auch anonym. Kontakte knüpfen wird man dort eher nicht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Waschmaschine wäscht gut. Der WLAN Router befindet sich in der Unterkunft und das Internet ist schnell. Besonders gut fand ich die große Schiebewand mit der man den Wohnbereich gut vor Sonne schützen kann. Unschlagbar ist die Nähe zum Strand, wobei die Gastronomie in der Umgebung wenig Anwechslung bietet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß in 15-20 min erreichbar. Man hat ja schließlich Urlaub und reichlich Zeit. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und die Unterkunft war ihr Geld absolut wert. Vielen Dank

A beautiful Villa with a nice pool and barbecue outside we all love it we are definitely coming back again. Highly recommended.

Lovely house in a great location just a very short walk from a beautiful beach, nature reserve and local shops restaurants and bars. The house was spotless and well equipped and the outside areas were faultless with a lovely pool, everything was kept to the highest standards. Peaceful and quiet but only a short distance from local amenities and close to Porto which is easy to access by bus that stops just outside or very affordable UBER. Host was super friendly and informative.

Muy buen lugar, tranquilo, con tiendas supermercados, cargadores de coche eléctrico y playa cercana. Todo en menos de 400-500metros. La casa estaba muy bien. Piscina comunitaria en excelentes condiciones. La posibilidad de tener perro con nosotros hace que le de el máximo de valoración. PERFECTO RUI. Muchas gracias.

Ideal location, close to the wineries and waterfront, but not in the center of Porto (across the river) so quieter than it would have been. Still close to everything and close to 2 metro stops. No elevator but that was clear in description. Nice view.

Great place to get a real feel of local culture, while being across the street from the sea at the same time. The coast south is fabulous! We walked a lot. We had planned to go to Porto several times - we only made it once! We didn't want to leave. Anselmo and Bruno are great guys andfor sure are Super hosts!

il nostro volo è partito con quasi 2 ore di ritardo, ma Fernando è stato così gentile da accoglierci di persona ugualmente, ben oltre l'orario di check-in; la casa è arredata con cura, spaziosa ed accogliente, ha un bellissimo spazio esterno ed è vicinissima alla spiaggia! la zona è tranquilla, e silenziosa; se dovessimo tornare a Porto, ci piacerebbe alloggiare di nuovo qui

Das kleine Haus ist ein wunderbarer Urlaubsort. Es ist sehr liebevoll und gleichzeitig praktisch eingerichtet. So hat man alles, was man braucht. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist großartig. Gut ist auch, dass es einen Kamin gibt, es kann doch ungemütlich kalt sein abends. Sehr praktisch fand ich den Wintergarten, er heizt sich tagsüber auf und man kann die Wärme für das Haus nutzen. Außerdem ist er die Verbindung von Haus zum Bad - sehr gut gelöst. Wir haben auch das Barbecue häufig benutzt, zumal es im Fischladen um die Ecke fangfrischen Fisch gibt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

El apartamento de Pedro es como estar en un barco, dormirás con el sonido de las olas y tendrás la sensación de estar encima del mar. Pedro te recibe al llegar, algo que se agradece siempre y que no sea un sistema de candado que subraya la sensación de negocio impersonal. Además por que es su casa, donde él vive habitualmente. Te da recomendaciones y está pendiente para cualquier consulta. Pedro es muy atento y muy flexible a la hora de acomodarse a las llegadas- llegábamos conduciendo 800kms- y no sabíamos la hora exacta de llegada. También agradecimos por dejar las maletas más tiempo dentro del apartamento, así pudimos aprovechar y comer antes de salir de viaje. Volveríamos!

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in einer schönen Unterkunft. Netter, ruhiger Ort. Zu Großstädten (Porto, Braga etc.) muss etwas Zeit eingeplant werden, wenn man nicht ein Auto zur Verfügung hat. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.
