The Ancient Baglio - Dammuso 'Il Gelso'

The Antico Baglio (“U Bagghiu” in Sicilian) is the only building of its kind in Pantelleria and dates back to around 1700. It is located in the Sesi archaeological area, 400 meters as the crow flies from the coast, 9 minutes from the town of Pantelleria and 14 minutes from the airport. It is made up of four independent Dammusi which can be accessed from the beautiful internal patio. A place of relaxation, in which you can enjoy a timeless atmosphere with typical Mediterranean rhythms and scents!

Here's the ideal solution for a dream vacation. Facing west, a stone's throw from the sea and the marina of Scauri, with incredible views of the island's spectacular sunsets, it also has access to the large exotic garden that collects dozens of specimens of rare beauty. An unforgettable stay in great company. Marco's proactivity, availability and valuable advice, the kindness and responsiveness of his wonderful collaborator Mariella, who in addition to facilitating the use of the house will be able to give you any information about the island. But most of all, the house. Definitely up to the photos in an incredible location overlooking the blue sea facing the sunset. An architectural and botanical masterpiece that makes it difficult to leave to explore the island. The scene of an indelible shared memory for our family. Thank you!

House near two of the most beautiful beaches on the island, which can also be reached on foot. It is not in the village but there are groceries within walking distance. Clothing... restaurants. Definitely have a means of transport to get around the island that is not very small. Very nice house. With very livable outdoor space and parking at home. Host came to pick us up at the airport and recommended restaurants and boat ride.. beautiful cow

Dammusino: mini-apartment

We spent a beautiful week in Pantelleria guests in Luca's Dammusino. The host was always available, the accommodation was clean, cozy, well cared for and in a great location to visit the island (having a car or scooter mandatory). It's quite small and spartan, in an isolated and very quiet location, and it's perfect for getting away from the world (the phone in the house doesn't take). In the evening you can enjoy fantastic star skies and the patio offers a nice view of the sea. Wide parking in front of the Dammusino, which can be reached by a short dirt stretch from the perimeter road.
