Skipperhuset

Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The skipper's house was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In cooperation with local painting company we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood etc. The skipper house has a natural space on the farm and is walled with the brewery house that has renovated the baking oven.

Recharge at this unique and tranquil place to stay. The morning coffee can be enjoyed both inside and outside with the same feeling of proximity to nature. Large windows with views of the spindle fjord and height under the roof make nature close by. Shared jetty with its own boat space you will find about a 2 min walk down to the sea. There you can swim from the jetty. If you rent a boat, it is right out in a varied archipelago with good fishing opportunities. Beaches are about 15 minutes away towards Lista. 10 minutes by boat/car to the city center.

We rent out our funky house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018, and has a high standard. On the ground floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV lounge with sofa bed, bathroom, and three bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom connected to this bedroom. Outside there is a difficult terrace with a lot of living space, various seating groups, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

Recharge your luxuries at this unique and tranquil accommodation. Lovely romantic little cottage with view that provides peace of mind. Large terrace/dock with outdoor furniture, gas grill, and wood-fired hot tub! (IMPORTANT! The hot tub DOES NOT have bubbles or massage, only delicious hot water). Inside there is a bedroom with double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower, rich kitchen and living room with TV and standard tv channels. Loft/loft with 2 single beds, 1.80 m ceiling height. Free SUP board and small kayak.

Cozy farm house on the country side.

Cozy old house located on the country side close to scenic water (Hanangervannet), known for its rich bird life and nice bathing. Large garden with scenic view. Simple standard, but cozy furnishings. The house has 4 separate bedrooms, where 3 are located on the second floor. Approx 7 minutes walk to bathing water which is very nice for smaller kids, shallow water and warmer than the sea. Approx 22 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lista, which offers miles and miles of sand.

Cozy apartment in the middle of Vanse

Cozy apartment with panoramic views of the Selvaagsparken. 100 meters walking distance to Brooklyn Square where you can enjoy a good meal at Larsen Bakery or at Holy Cow. 1 bedroom. Sofa bed in the living room can be turned into a double bed A total of 4 sleeping places. Bed linens/towels are not provided but can be rented for 100kr per guest. Then the bed is ready before arrival and it comes with one large and one smaller towel.

Nyt en avslappende ferie med hele familien i vår moderne hytte med høy standard! Dette er vår egen familiehytte som vi bruker så ofte vi kan, men som vi gjerne deler med andre når vi ikke er der selv. Hytta er romslig med sine 150 m², har fire soverom og plass til inntil 11 personer – perfekt for to familier som ønsker å feriere sammen. Vi håper dere trives like godt som oss!

Fantastic fjord and mountains views

A good place to just relax completely and enjoy the view of the beautiful fjord. Large windows facing the view make the feeling of sitting outside when you enjoy a good cup of coffee in the good chair. A short walk (200m) down to the harbor with a private boat berth and its own boathouse for storing equipment and freezing fish.
