Trunk Bay downstairs self-contained room

Hi! We paused this listing first because it was badly damaged by Hurricane Irma and then due to Covid 19, but we're back – repaired and upgraded! The outdoor shower that our guests loved is still there, only now it has hot water. There's also a new kitchen made of hardwood we were able to salvage after Irma. Great news! The beach is still there, too, and still a just ten minute walk away. Always popular for being simple and beautiful in a fantastic location, now it's the same, but even better!

This "apartment" was actually our one bedroom home before building an adjacent bedroom/bathroom and our new home above. Great cottage and location was perfect - away from the main town but close enough to walk. Free shuttle stop was just down the main road. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful & quiet. Small grocery store was also in walking distance along with a couple of great food choices. Definitely would stay here again!

Mornel’s place was amazing! The view is absolutely stunning — even better than the photos. Mornel and her mom are both incredibly kind and welcoming. She was super helpful and even offered to coordinate an airport pickup, which made everything so easy. There’s also a supermarket just down the hill, which was super convenient. Highly recommend!

Located in the gardens of the Brandywine Estate (best restaurant on Tortola) - excellent hosts. I arrived in the dark and awoke the next morning to a gorgeous view from my bed. Good value for money in the area, and an excellent stopover before or after a charter - convenient location to charter bases in the area!!

Great stay , very convenient for beaches and food! Philip was very helpful and kind, he was able to show us around and gave us a lift. Would recommend to anyone! He also arranged the taxi to the port for our departure!
