Great host, gorgeous views, and a quaint old home with history. Queen bed was very comfy and ac worked great! Host greeted us, answered any questions we had, provided local recommendations for our anniversary, and had even more amenities than we expected upon arrival. Would definitely come back if in the area again! My dogs loved the farm.

I enjoyed my quiet, peaceful stay at Lori’s place. The farmhouse is tucked back away from any and all traffic along a dirt road. She was welcoming and provided coffee! The two rooms upstairs that share the upstairs bathroom were well appointed, as the TV and Window AC unit worked well. I would stay with Lori again!

This was a great location for a day trip in the area. It was terrific for Jim to have a kennel to keep our dog while we did non dog-friendly activities

Great weekend stay at Supen’s house. The house looked like the pics, except that the view was even better! Appreciated Supen always being responsive.

Connie's Rock Cottage was amazing! much thought was put into this cottage. Firewood and fire starter for the wood stove on chilly nights, robes we used for getting to and from the private hot tub just steps outside the back door,map of entire 550 acres of land including the wonderful paved walkway which meanders through the property. This was the mosr exceptionally prepared kitchen we have seen in out travels. Tons of utensils, a full set of potsand pans, dish towels, trivets, cutting boards and cooking sheets! We love to cook together when we travel and this kitchen was big enough for 2! We got some amazing pictures all over the farm. The lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy the stars and Pink Full Moon in all their glory! We will be back to enjoy this cottage again!

Kelly's place is a 5 star getaway. easily fit my family of 10. she answered my questions almost before I'd even asked them. it was close and convenient to everything while being secluded at the same time. beautiful cabin with great amenities. the beds were among the most comfortable any of us have been in. thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay while in the Front Royal area. The house is on a quiet, peaceful, country road with a vineyard across the street. We spent a lot of time on the back deck, using the hammocks and listening to the birds. The house was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen has all the dishes and appliances we needed. The only thing that could have made the trip better was if the AC was turned on before we got there. Our first day was the hottest day of the year so far and it took a while for the upstairs to cool down. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning! A perfect place for a family of 4-5 or two couples!

What a great space and setting to gather with our family who were also staying on the property to attend a family wedding in the area. We had everything we needed and the host was very attentive. We definitely recommend it and will return in the future!

We were a combined bunch of 8 adults and a 3 yr old. We had an incredible time, despite having a week of mostly rainy weather. There is plenty to do in the house and it is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and utensils. The house is kid-friendly and has all you need to entertain the kids and accommodate toddlers. The location is quiet and secluded, but close enough to a variety of attractions to keep you busy in good weather. We had a precious time and were sad to leave. Jenny was very communicative and responsive. She provided us with all the details we needed to enjoy the stay.

I organised a golf trip for my best friend who is getting married in a few months. Our stay with 12 guys was amazing. With an excellent kitchen, dinning room, plenty of beds and space for activities we felt right at home. Not to mention the big TV’s, pond to fish in and games like Air-hockey, darts and shuffleboard it’s hard not to have a fun. Very beautiful furniture in side with rustic decorations, which make you think you are a lot further away from DC.

My husband and I had a quiet weekend in The Plains and absolutely loved staying at Elizabeth's cottage! The cottage has exquisite furniture, cozy bedding and all the right touches to feel at home. I loved sipping coffee and watching the horses grazing in the pasture. Elizabeth and her family were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed walking to town for dinner and shopping. I can't wait to return to explore more of the area.

Staying at Kay's place was a dream come true! We wanted to get away for a night and Kay made an exception and accepted my request. The space is beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. Plus the snacks were plentiful. We will definitely stay here again.

The location and property were exactly what we were looking for. It was very central to hiking, private and the bison farm and surroundings were a really cool experience.

Beautiful, updated cabin that felt very private and within the woods, while not being too far from things to do as well as not difficult to locate. Very clean and well kept. Great directions and things to do provided by host. Hot tub was a great amenity as well. Excellent cabin with plenty of rooms for a weekend in the woods!

The Herb Cottage is beautifully situated on the Hidden Creek Farm. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the animals move through the fields. I reserved the cabin because it was conveniently located near a dinner we were attending, abut we will return for the peaceful beauty of the farm. We slept soundly in the comfortable bed and woke to the sound of birds softly singing. If it rains while you are there, do not miss the opportunity to rock in the porch chairs and relax to the tune of raindrops drops on the metal roof.

Our 2nd stay, as good as first. Description and pictures very accurate. Great central location for our family to get together. Kitchen has everything we need for preparing meals and dining room that sat everybody. Winery across street a must visit. Many more wineries within a 20 minute drive. The golfers in family even got in some golf. After dinner family board/card games and catching up, house is well suited for that. Plenty of games puzzles at house. Nice back deck with what appeared to be new gas grill. Would stay again and recommend.

You would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay. The house was very comfortable and relaxing. When we’re back in the area this will be our go to place.

I truly cannot say enough amazing words about Jeannie and her cottage. It was the absolute PERFECT home base for my husband and I during our wedding weekend at the Manor 1858. It was only 13 min away from the venue and less than 5 from Middleburg. You truly can’t beat that location. It was so peaceful and charming and we are already talking about coming back in the years to come. Thank you Jeannie!!!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway! Stephanie's place was a steal of a deal and fit our needs perfectly. The local recommendations for food/activities were great, and all on the way to Old Town Fredericksburg.

A truly magical stay in the most serene, bucolic setting! My dog was happy to have the run of the farm. Joyce was very warm and gave great suggestions and I fell in love with the area. Loved everything and plan to return!

Stayed at One Minute to Wine Heaven and honestly, it’s awesome. The place is super cozy, with great vibe and amazing views. It’s literally a minute from some of the best experiences and amazing scenery — can’t get better than that! The hosts are amazing, chill, and really made me feel taken care of. Perfect spot to kick back, relax, and enjoy nature. Totally recommend for anyone looking for a fun, laid-back getaway. Would definitely come back!

There is not a better located Airbnb in Middleburg. Perfect location to wineries and downtown. The house is bright and comfortable - a great spot for a getaway with friends or another couple. My only ding is the sulfur smell in the water. Bring some bottled water if that will bother you.
