Cet appartement offre une vue imprenable sur le confluent de la rivière Pinhão et du fleuve Douro. Il est entouré de citronniers et d'orangers. L'endroit est isolé mais très reposant. Il est donc préférable d'avoir une voiture pour s'y rendre. Sinon on peut prendre un taxi depuis la gare ou marcher, mais il faut alors compter au moins 1h de marche dans des rues escarpées.

Wow, wow, wow! Miquel, owner and Ana Rita, our host, were both amazing. Miquel was warm and informative. Ana Rita went out of her way on multiple occasions to make us feel welcome and nurtured, always with a big smile. Our small villa was beautiful inside and out, with river views. The accommodation almost seemed new; clean, cozy, great vibes. 15 minutes to the train station takes you into Porto or the country.

Wat een geweldig verblijf hadden wij bij Maria! Ze ontving ons letterlijk met open armen met een heerlijke lunch op haar balkon met een prachtig uitzicht over de tuin en de mooie groene heuvels. Op hetzelfde balkon genoten we elke ochtend van een uitgebreid en liefdevol klaargemaakt ontbijt. De plek is echt geweldig en vooral de tuin, die als een paradijs is, vol met vruchtenbomen, olijven, druiven, groenten, kruiden en andere planten en bloemen. Overal zijn fijne zitjes om van de heerlijke tuin met het prachtige uitzicht te genieten. En dan Maria, een zeldzaam lieve, hartelijke en zorgzame vrouw. Alles wat ze doet, voelt oprecht en recht uit het hart. Ze was bijna als een moeder voor ons en als een oma voor ons dochtertje. Het viel niet mee om na 6 dagen afscheid te nemen, maar we nemen de fijnste herinneringen met ons mee. Heel veel dank lieve Maria!

Es war alles super & wir haben tolle Empfehlungen für die Umgebung bekommen. Bei der Ankunft haben wir uns an einem nahegelegenen Cafe getroffen und wurden zur Unterkunft begleitet. Vor Ort wurden wir sehr herzlich willkommen und bekamen die ersten Infos. Nach der Hälfte des Aufenthaltes bekamen wir sogar frische Handtücher. Zwei Sachen sind aus der Beschreibung leider nicht ersichtlich: der Ausblick auf den See ist durch Bäume verdeckt & man hat direkte Nachbarn. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört & wir würden immer wieder kommen!

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

Lovely home high on a hillside with gorgeous views from inside and 3 outside areas. As is expected, the drive and the path to the house are steep and cobblestoned, quite an adventure! Wish we could have stayed longer. . .

Le logement a une vue spectaculaire! Les espaces sont bien et toutes les pièces sont très bien équipées, plus que la plupart des autres logements. 3 salles de bain en tout, ce qui est très commode. Helena a répondu à nos demandes et besoins avec nos jeunes enfants, ce fût très apprécié.

Our stay at Quinta Rainha Santa Mafalda was unforgettable. The villa’s views over the Douro River and surrounding vineyards were absolutely breathtaking—sunrises here are something special. The home itself was spotless, spacious, and beautifully furnished, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The terrace was our favorite spot to relax with wine in the evening. The location is ideal: peaceful and private, yet close to wineries and charming villages. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing great local recommendations that made our trip even better. Every detail, from the cozy beds to the fully equipped kitchen, was thoughtfully prepared. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had, and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend! Also the house maid here was amazing and cooked us one of the best Portuguese dinners!
