Very nice house with a pool and a big garden, everything is clean and comfortable. I can only recommend to stay here. We will definitely do so :)

Abilio's place is amazing, bathrooms and rooms renovated and very well heated. In the social areas the rural and most classic charm has been maintained that creates a cozy and familiar place. The kitchen is equipped with everything and the appliances work wonderfully. Friendly hosts at all times. I recommend this place 100%, it is not too close to the city center but it is very worth it for its value for money.

Estadia was great, it's a perfect place for hot summer days with swimming pool and several balconies overlooking nature. Very friendly hosts. Site clean and well received by us. I hope to stay again.

A spectacular house, very tastefully renovated. The area is perfect if you want to visit Porto (less than an hour), Braga, Guimaraes... Everything in the house is totally new, with very comfortable beds and everything you need. Nice to stay here, really.

We spent a week in this typical Portuguese house. 4 couples between 25 and 30 years old. This rental far exceeded our expectations. imagine yourself finding yourself in a home with beautiful spaces, surrounded by orange trees, vineyards, Eucalyptus and magnificent nature. All maintained to perfection. the pool is perfect size, a shutter net or badminton is available, a pool table, a family-style barbecue. The icing on the cake, we had a bar at our disposal in the TV room (fridge + ice maker). neighbors are too far away to be disturbed This villa will be perfect for a week / 15 days with your friends with or without children. we will definitely be coming back to this beautiful place! The villa had everything we needed and more — every detail was so thoughtfully designed, and it was spotless. The space is even more stunning in person, with a warm and stylish feel throughout. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, which made everything super smooth. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back!!! Adrianne was great dropping by each morning to have a little tidy in the kitchen and make breakfast. The view of the Douro valley from poolside and the rooms was incredible. Can’t say enough good things about our stay!

Staying at Quinta dos Moinhos was truly a dream come true for us. Not only was it the perfect setting for our wedding, but the property and the views were simply unforgettable. Every detail of the home is filled with character, and you can feel the care and pride that has gone into preserving the home and the surrounding nature. Diogo was an exceptional host - warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. He even hopped on a Facetime call so we could see the property firsthand and feel more confident about our decision! Diogo is just a genuinely kind person, and from the moment we arrived he made us feel completely at ease. His hospitality and kindness were especially meaningful during such a special time in our lives. We couldn’t ask for a more special place to celebrate, and we are already looking forward to the day we can return!

This place is beautiful, with amazing breakfast of eggs, bacon, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, and lots of other treats. It was a real highlight at a time flexible to you. The gardens and surrounds are stunning as well as the pool & terrace. We stayed as a group of 10 mid 40s ladies and had a fab time.. just not long enough. The breakfast staff were lovely. The rooms with all their ensuite bathrooms were brilliant and the sound insulation was impressive. The host was also very informative and responsive. Don't hesitate just book it!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was so unique to have all of these apartments altogether with a beautiful shared outside space. We came as a large group of friends and loved that we each had our space and bathroom, but the outside area to spend time together. Truly it doesn’t feel like you’re in the center of the city! The location was great, within walking distance to so many great restaurants, bars, shops, landmarks, etc. The host was so helpful and communicative. Our only wish was to stay longer!

Very nice house, the caretaker Olivia was very welcoming and did us a favor. The estate is very large, many more peaceful (shaded corner, large pool...) there is a very nice dog who stayed with us during our stay. The only small downside is the automatic watering which is not too often too often, which is not necessarily necessary sometimes. I recommend this vacation rental with friends in Portugal! ☺️

excellent property and host

The house is exactly what we needed. We were 2 families with children and we were very comfortable. The house is very new and has all the amenities you may need. The fireplace gives it a very cozy touch, and although we don't use it, the sauna and pool area for summer looks like a real wonder. We had a little problem with the heater and the owners immediately came and fixed it. If we come back to the area we will definitely repeat.

We are really happy with our vacation… the place is simply a paradise! So much better in real life than in photos… the house is very well equipped, 3 bathrooms, 3 toilets, really everything you need (except washing machine) the garden is heavenly, very green, large, fruit everywhere, 2 swings, the pool is huge 🤩 the view is crazy, the owners are incredibly kind!! The managers always have good recommendations… frankly amazing!! We highly recommend this area, this location and meeting these people who are great! Thank you

We came to Church house in Moreira do Castelo, August 2024 with my wife & three teenage children. It is situated opposite a newish village square, carpark and 1960's Church, with spectacular views across the mountainous countryside looking towards Amarante, (a beautiful town), only 15mins away by car. In the village itself, there is Cinza's bar, a couple of small independently owned bars/shops nearby, but we found it easier to stock up on groceries at Pingo Doce in Amarante itself, (only 12 mins away). Great amenities at the house, swimming pool, bbq, pool room, tennis court etc., with a great deal of local charm the way the circa 1883 house has been rebuilt. It was v. hot whilst we were there (upper 30's), but with the shutters and mountain breezes we still found it very enjoyable. Within the village square, there is a football pitch, a kiosk which sells beers most evenings, where the locals gather. Conversations can be heard until gone midnight. Church bell strikes at 7am.
