Magical woodland hideaway

GraceRating, 5 stars3 days ago
What a lovely accommodation! The place was so beautiful inside and out. It was definitely a different stay to a regular hotel but in such a good way. The decor inside is just magical and right next door is a beautiful stream. I couldn’t recommend more if you wanted something a little different. Thank you Clare !!

Chicken house dome

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding in the local area. Beautiful, peaceful, unique little chicken house dome, clearly built with love by Doug. Spotlessly clean, beautiful views and everything you could need is provided for a weekend in the Welsh countryside. Host was super friendly and responsive, and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely touches leaving us fresh milk, Welsh cakes etc! Would definitely stay again if we were in Brecon - thanks so much Doug and Judy 😊

Erwhir Farm stay

Another wonderful stay with Cerys and family :-) The farmhouse is a wonderful home from home. Spectacular views, hikes from the door, great sized bedrooms and lovely living spaces. The kitchen is so well equipped - it’s the details that make the difference. Highly recommended!

Cosy woodland cabin

KimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location of Katy and James’ Airbnb is perfect! Less than an hours drive to get to some great hikes/waterfalls. The private bit of woodland outside the hut was brilliant for the dog. Theres so much to walk about and see just on the land where you stay! Katy and James were great hosts, flexible with check in times (we were a little bit early) and recommended some great local spots to go to! After a long day hiking in the rain it would have been good to have a spot to dry jackets or trousers. Having a limit on shower time is understandable due to using a reserve of rainwater, but again after a days hike being able to have a shower longer than 2mins would have been lush! Saying that the water was piping hot and so welcomed. We picked a soggy weekend to walk up Welsh mountains! Woodland Park is a fab spot to switch off and be right in nature. Thanks for having us!

Cefnmachllys Shepherd's hut Hawthorn

We had a great bank holiday weekend stay at Sam's place! The hut was not only very clean but also super cozy. Waking up surrounded by nature was a welcome escape from the grey concrete of London. The farm itself is an oasis of peace and tranquility, and it's just a short drive from the main walks in the Brecon Beacons. While we didn't make great use of the kitchen, the experience of cooking breakfast with a view of the Black Mountains was beautiful. Sam and his wife are great hosts, they gave us a lot of recommendations for local dining and scenic walks. I strongly recommend a stay at his hut to everyone. My only advices are to bring a torch with you, as the bathroom is a short walk from the hut, and it can get quite dark at night and also to not use your sat nav to get there as it will bring you to a different farm (Sam sent us all the indications on how to get to the farm before our check-in and we managed to get there without issues).

Little Barn

GabrielleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wonderful character barn with a totally private balcony terrace. Sitting there and listening to the birds was lovely, it felt as if you were in the tree tops. Great location for mountain walks like Dragon’s Back. The local co op and Morrisons daily (5 minute drive) were really handy.

Enchanting Cosy Cottage Brecon Beacons

We had an incredible time staying at Lulu’s Lodge. It’s been recently renovated and the furnishings and interior decor are impeccable! The surrounding area is beautiful and we enjoyed a bracing walk up to the fort close by. Lulu is such a welcoming and generous host and we really appreciated the freshly baked sour dough and delicious goodies that she provided for our stay. Thank you, Lulu, and hopefully see you again soon!
