Lieu très propre, exactement comme sur les photos, très agréable a vivre nous nous sommes sentis chez nous comme dans un petit cocon au milieu de la médina Amal est la parfaite hôte, toujours disponible, réactive à la minute (super petit déjeuner en prime tout les matins!) Si nous devions revenir à Fès nous irons forcément chez Amal je recommande à 100%

Eine unvergessliche Begegnung – mit Herz, Stil und Seele Der Aufenthalt bei Sonhild war weit mehr als nur eine Reiseunterkunft – es war eine zutiefst herzliche, inspirierende Erfahrung. Sonhild und ihr Team sind unglaublich freundlich, offen und zugleich sehr respektvoll im Umgang mit Privatsphäre. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und doch ganz frei für sich. Das Haus ist einfach atemberaubend – mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Alles ist blitzsauber, geschmackvoll, voller Seele – eine Oase mitten in der Medina, und trotzdem in einer angenehm ruhigen Ecke gelegen. Besonders berührend war die Einladung zum Essen mit der Familie – das Essen war sensationell, aber noch mehr die Wärme und Offenheit, mit der wir empfangen wurden. Und dann ist da noch Sonhild selbst – eine faszinierende Frau, voller Tiefe, Geschichten, Erfahrung und Herzensbildung. Eine Begegnung, die nachklingt, einen berührt, und die man nicht so schnell DANKE von Herzen ❤️

For Medina experience, it is a great place to stay. The accommodation is by the oldest university in the world, The University of al-Qarawiyyin. (UNESCO and the Guinness World Records, have cited al-Qarawiyyin as the oldest university or oldest continually operating higher learning institution in the world.) The place is also surrounded by Moorish / Andalusian and Marinid / Berber architectural gems such as Bou Inania Madrasa and Al-Attarine Madrasa. On the flip side, although Fes Medina is very safe, it may be a good idea especially for solo travelers to be back to the place by the last prayer's call of the day or a little later (like 11 pm in the summer). Finally, Sonhild and Said are great people. They will make you feel home.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach großartig. Wir fühlten uns direkt wie zu Hause. Said ist ein sehr warmherziger, freundlicher, zuvorkommender, herzlicher und immer fröhlicher Gastgeber. Er hat uns am Parkplatz abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gebracht, uns jeden Morgen ein großartiges Frühstück bereitet und stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sonhild war zwar nicht persönlich anwesend, aber auch sie war jederzeit erreichbar und hat sehr herzliche Nachrichten geschrieben, war proaktiv und hat uns viele Empfehlungen gegeben. Es ist alles sauber, ordentlich und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse ist super und die Lage mittendrin. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen!
