Lovely little spot on the river when you just want to get away for a bit. Cottage was safe, secure and peaceful.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully put together, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home. One of the highlights was how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were — perfect for getting a good night’s rest or simply unwinding after a busy day. The host was also very responsive and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in and offering helpful information throughout my stay. Beautiful place with easy access to the dam for fishing. Staff on site were so helpful, even gave us fishing tips. Will definitely return

The Host Paul allowed us to have our very small intimate wedding there.. it was the best night of my whole life and the propert is superb😍. I would not trade that night and the overall feel for anything else. I have to add that the staff member was walking around our guests and for most park of the wedding sat in the main houses' bar on his phone watching videos (the guest toilet is right next to the bar btw).. i eventually asked him around 23h00 when our guests left to please leave our house , it was quite awkward having him sit there watching videos while we all stand around the kitchen/ bar and all talking about how the wedding and night went.

Wonderful place and such a free space. Wonderful hosts, just had such a wonderful time. They thought of ia by makimg a great fire, it waa just so sweet.

Lovely house with ample room and beautiful garden with great outdoor eating space. It suited our needs and Elmarie was very friendly and flexible.

Perfect for a getaway with the dogs! Will definitely be back!

What a wonderful venue especially as we could moor our boat and JetSki after a fun day’s activities on the river. The house had everything we needed.

What a lovely stay! The photos does not do this place justice!! We will definitely be back. We just stayed for one night, but the beds were fantastic (electric blankets, lush bedding etc) and Lindi is a marvellous host! Thanks again for everything.

loved our stop over stay, could have stayed longer and enjoyed the peace on the farm. A lovely outside braai area to enjoy your evenings. Very thoughtful details added for our arrival, from coffee and rusks, to endless firewood and a choccie on the pillow. I can recommend staying here

Cosy , friendly , all the creature comforts , loved our stay . Isalize was a remarkable host! They even lit a bonfire for us outside our room. Loved it!

Keith is a friendly host and the guest house is perfect as a stop off on a long drive across the country.

Dhabi and Keith were very accommodating even with the difficulties of load shedding they had extra oil lamps and solar torches available. The sheep were dropping lambs so the kids had fun feeding them milk. It was also harvesting time and we were able to ride along and see what goes into the harvest. A real farm feeling and with little to no signal some times, it was great to switch off and have great family time. We will be back for sure

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GETAWAY FROM THE CITY, THIS IS IT!! Absolutely loved the host first and foremost, so professional in all areas. The location was easy to find, the instructions given are spot on! The rooms were clean and I absolutely loved how each room has its own theme, so inviting, so modern, definitely a 10 out of 10. I loved how every need is catered for, although it’s out of the city we kept busy ( you can’t be board here) , lots of in door and outdoor activities from books, board games, a pool table, braai area, swimming pool, Child friendly facilities provided which makes it perfect for families. NOT EVEN LOAD SHEDDING could stop us from having fun as all load shedding essentials are provided. THANK YOU PEPER TREE, I’ll be back!!!!
