We've been traveling to SavuSavu for years to visit family. This is one of the rougher-around-the-edges places we've stayed at but the price reflects that. I certainly felt we got our money's worth. Though not fancy, the place is large and everything was clean and comfortable and well appointed. The host was EXTREMELY responsive to the small issues that came up (e.g. a broken tea kettle was replaced within a day). There are mosquito screens on all of the windows and the house catches a nice breeze off the ocean. The deck is really nice but could have used some lounge chairs. We ended up buying a cheap hammock in town to lay in and look out over the reef. There's a small beach just down the (steep) road, about a 5 minute walk. The drive into town is short and a new bodega just opened up about a 5 minute drive down the road. The house itself is in a very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Would stay here again!

This location is absolutely incredible. The private beach and direct access to an essentially private snorkeling reef and kayaking/swimming area was unbeatable. I wasn't quite sure from the photos and description what it would be like. The home is comfortable with three bedrooms. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Our younger children decided to sleep on the upstairs couches instead of downstairs. Ben is a very gracious host, and Abdul is a fabulous captain. We enjoyed a few hours at 7th Heaven and there is a snorkeling reef on the way where we were going to stop but it was too rough then. We stopped at the local market. Really just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. two things guests should be aware of is the drinking water must be bottled.only, and there is no dock. Ben and Abdul were very helpful with our things and I told the kids we were getting an authentic Fijian experience! I give 5 stars for this unique and beautiful location and hospitality

The Sekoula Lodge was the perfect island paradise. The beaches and snorkeling were fabulous right from the house, the grounds were tropical and immaculately maintained, and the large balcony overlooking the ocean was incredible. The whole place felt postcard perfect. The house itself had everything we wanted for a comfortable vacation. The layout was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked with supplies. The host, Jenny, was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. She made several great recommendations including massages from Mere (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) and going to see the spinner dolphins with Joji and Alisi. We had a fabulous time and will definitely return to Sekoula Lodge in the future.

The perfect home to stay at to spend time with family and friends with in Suva. Plenty of space, great ammenities, and lovely outside areas to accommodate small family gatherings. Beautiful secure garden for kids to play outside. Perfect for our small family. The house was very clean and had all amenities required fur a comfortable stay. Our second time staying at Anne’s place because we loved it so much the first time! There was a new caretaker, Kove, who was very kind and helpful. Anne is great at communicating with us and is also very open to feedback and suggestions. We look forward to staying here again 😊

Such a wonderful space. A beautiful ocean view on a sand beach. the property is lush with many types of plants and grasses but very well maintained. Listening to the ocean crashing on the beach with the birds calling to each other while the frogs rumble out their welcome every evening is a wonderful way to wake in the morning. The pool is immaculate but the sea and long sandy shore is the big draw. The family is warm and welcoming. The home is a large studio with a lofted ceiling. There are windows with screens on every side to make use of the breeze and light. The extensive use of wood and art make the home feel cozy and very textured. The wrap around porch invites you to just hang out. There is a convenient outdoor shower so you don’t track sand into the house. This is simply a slice of paradise.

Rachel is a great host. As soon as I send a message she will respond immediately and sort things out. There are tea, coffee, sugar, salt, sauces and spices in the kitchen. Everything that we need in a kitchen are there. Rooms are clean. It's near to the supermarket and gas station and not far from Suva city. Thank you Rachel. We really enjoyed our stay in your accommodation.

Absolutely stunning location and away from all distractions. Access to an infinity pool with an incredible view made this place our favourite during our month in Fiji. The housekeeper, Saleshni, was extremely friendly and accommodating. She prepared two delicious meals, which we feasted on for 3 days. She also arranged a great snorkeling expedition for us for 3hrs from a nearby wharf (Ellington). A car is absolutely needed in this area to access shops for food. 5 stars to Saleshni for her hospitality.

Brian is a great host. Communicates well, was helpful and everything was as indicated. We seriously had the best apartment in the whole of Club Wyndham particularly with our 4 kids. The apartment will save you money by allowing you to eat in when you feel like it. You can buy what you need at a near by Supermarket or take meats (NOT PORK!) into Fiji. Room 4008 is perfect you can even mix your own cocktails in room as youre right on the pool and save $26 per drink! The sales pitch to join the club was a bit heavy handed in our view. But we managed it without having to part with $0000s. Other than that and with free kids club it was a great place to call home for 10 days!

Michelle makes you feel relaxed and at home, always quick to respond to communication. The accommodation is overlooking the waterfront with a pontoon for crabbing/ fishing or storing adventure equipment like sup board's kayaks/canoe's for your adventures. This waterway spill's out to Nadi Bay adjacent to Port Denarau. Fishing activities within this waterway is unique and exciting.... stripped/blotched spot/yellow tail Emperor , qitawa, sabutu Cod species (camouflage Grouper, Leopard Coral Grouper) kawaka/Donu, Snapper species like Mangrove Jack(Damu), 2 spot and humpback red snapper Russell's snapper (Kake) grey and yellow tail mullet (kanace) short nose ponyfish (ose) yellow tail goatfish(osekula), Barracuda (Ogo), Travelley (Saqa), Spanish Mackerel (Walu) Belt/Ribbon Fish (Beleti) Needle Fish (Saku) Barred Gar fish ( Busa) Butterbream Fish (Kaikai), eel's (Duna), mud crab's (Qari) sting and manta rays and turtle's. Pack your fishing gear and an appetite for fish.

Amazing views, fantastic pool, loved the taste of island life. The bikes were perfect for the 5 min ride to musket cove.Ima and Sarah were welcoming and responsive. The pool guy was very friendly and did a great job of keeping the pool looking great everyday. The house was perfect for our family group but does need some TLC around the kitchen and bathroom. But we had the most amazing time enjoying this beautiful place.

Overall the house was lovely and pool was beautiful. Unfortunately the air conditioner drained water which gathered right outside the front door. This meant having to walk through a pretty deep puddle of water every time we came and went anywhere. Over the days we were there mosquitoes and dead cockroachs gathered. Was also a major slip hazard. The house was advertised as having 2 sofa beds, there was only one and it was so uncomfortable my kids had to take turns at sleeping on the couch in the living room. The bathrooms particularly hadn't been clean. Gorgeous house and surrounding garden and pool. We would definitely come back if those small details were taken care of. Thank you for sharing.

What a scenic location for a few days! The rumble of the waves on the reef, completely visible from the treetops, along with the lush, green vegetation, made for an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Great location, minutes to restaurants and other stores. The host waited for us and showed us around. Clean, comfortable, quiet, walkable. Very friendly hosts. Best value for the price in Savusavu, if you are looking for a simple room to crash between adventures. :)

Maxine was a great host. This place is ideal for families and couples who want to be on the beach with not many people around, and keen to be self contained with cooking facilities. We had paid for dinner each night and was delicious and totally recommend it for any guests staying. It is mentioned by the host already, but this place runs on generators and tank water supply. If you’re happy to relax, swim, snorkel, kayak, read books from their extensive library, and comfortable with a bach approach you won’t be disappointed at all. We would happily recommend and will be keen to visit again in the future.

The Airbnb has panoramic ocean views, modern, spacious and very comfortable. Close to town and Savusavu airport. This stay was hands down our favorite Airbnb my husband and I have stayed in overseas. The caretaker, Zakiiaazz, is who truly made our experience amazing. She went above & beyond to show us what Fiji is truly about. She drove us around town, cooked us traditional dinners, and made recommendation after recommendation of things to see and do while on the island. All this at a very affordable rate. We are already thinking of a return trip! We highly recommend this Airbnb.

We had a great stay at the Villa! Everything was perfect, very clean and comfortable, million dollar view from the deck and the pool was great to cool off and enjoy the view. It's a short walk to town for restaurants and shopping all very near by. We will definitely be back again!

Stayed 2 weeks with family of 5 (8, 10, 13). Absolutely gorgeous location. Caretaker family made us feel very welcome with unexpected treats. Having sampled a few of the eating establishments in Savusavu you could do worse than coming to a private arrangement for Maopa to provide meals for you! The wild pig curry (trapped by Joe) was succulent and delicious. Kayaks saw a lot of use, kids loved chasing crabs, beach combing and walking out at low tide to discover the marine life. I was glad to have kitted everyone out with diving gloves because the kids can and will pick up anything and everything!! If you are prepared to walk out at low tide (aqua socks recommended) you can see so much coral and fish snorkelling off the point. The water is beautiful and warm, and you can still do everything even when it's raining as the rain is lovely and warm. The caretaker family has friendly dogs who will keep you company as you wander up and down the beach, cats, goats, pigs, chickens and a rooster I couldn't quite warm to as he insisted on crowing at inconvenient times 😉 The kids got into feeding the pigs all the organic waste, and I think everyone felt a wrench at leaving Scrappy behind. Waikona is a lovely place to stay and we will have fond memories of our time in Fiji. Note that this is the tropics, and that means there will be bugs. We had all the doors open to catch the beautiful breeze, but you'll want to close everything up before you turn on the lights inside. Turn off all lights at night and all will be well. Personal repellent a must. There is also no wifi at the house, best to get a local sim and data from town (about 7FJD / week) Also, be advised there is no taxi rank outside Savusavu airport, so best to contact Joe to arrange a taxi beforehand as it gets tricky to nab one given there's no single number to call for taxis. Waikona is about 30min away from Savusavu by car, so hiring a car is advised also. We used James Rental and can recommend it

A great base for visiting Suva but also for nature outings. The little extra, in fact the kitchen, the bathroom, and the deck are only for you, it is not a room but a luxury studio. Finally a little tip: ask Susan for the best place to buy Purini or pineapple pie.

Great location. One minute walk to the shops. Comfortable bed. Beautiful gardens to look at.
