The cottage offers guests an unique opportunity to stay on a rustic working wine farm. It forms part of the farmstead of a historic wine farm, but has its own little garden with a view over vineyards. It is located on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, which makes it the ideal place to reside when exploring the many surrounding wineries and restaurants. We had such a lovey stay at Shane's farm. The location was perfect - down a beautiful quiet farm road, and close to top wine farms such as Rust en Vrede and Uva Mira. Also very easy to make a trip into Stellenbosch village. The home was cosy and authentic, with lovely fire places for cold nights. We enjoyed experiencing farm life, with sheep, turkeys and donkeys passing by, and Shane and her husband were very kind in involving my son in the feeding of the animals. We will definitely return.

Beautiful place, great kitchen with everything we need. More appliances than usual air bnb's. Chandré was able to accommodate our special request which was super helpful. Felt safe and safe parking. Right across the road from a virgin active which was never too busy. We will definitely be back!

It was absolutely fantastic. The interior and everything about the place were flawless. We’re truly grateful for the host’s thoughtfulness. The only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer due to our schedule. Our whole family had such a wonderful time. It’s also not far from the highway—highly recommended!
