Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Rorbua eies av kunstner Arne Mæland, og er utsmykket med spennende kunst fra ulike kunstnere. Rorbua ligger i rolige omgivelser. Båt kan leies.
