Secluded and Romantic Paradise on Somerset Levels

SueRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A beautiful restored Water Mill with artistic history linked to Picasso through Clementina’s Father , fascinating with book written in the Mill . On the day we were to arrive the weather was horrible and Clementina lit 🔥 a beautiful log burning stove and turned on the central heating to make us feel at home , she welcomed us a little early and showed us around and explained in detail about how to use the facilities in the mill . We have eaten at at 4 of the 5 restaurants she recommended and our favourite by far was The Boar at Barrington ( must book to be sure ) all the others were good but The Boar stood out by far . A big thank you to Clementina and Ben the garden looked amazing. Sue W 🐝🦋🐝

Greenlands Barn on the old River Tone navigation

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Beautiful barn, very pleasantly surprised at how well appointed the barn is. There is absolutely everything that you wish for, plus a very generous welcome pack and essential groceries and toiletries. We wanted for nothing. Lovely patios to sit in the sunshine. We would really recommend this barn for a stay in Somerset.

The Old Potting Shed, Staplegrove, Taunton

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 day ago
"Outstanding", is the way I would describe The Old Potting She'd. So relaxing and quite. Only 4 miles off the M5 . So glad I got to stay here. I will definitely try to book ahead next time I'm passing. Better than staying in a hotel and around £50 cheaper per night than a hotel. You will not regret staying here.

Very impressive room, everything well stocked in the kitchenette. Easy check in and a great pub down the road from the accommodation (walkable). Would highly recommend this place.

Stay in a Meadow - light & airy Cabin sleeps 4

AlexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed a wonderful night away here, felt so peaceful and idyllic, kids loved the trampoline, hanging out in the swing chair and hammock. We had a BBQ and spent the evening around the fire pit. The tiny house is beautiful and has everything you need, really cosy and comfortable. We wandered around the meadow, what a lovely location.

We had a lovely one-night stay. The apartment is very spacious and pretty. I’m sure you could stay there very happily for a much longer time. I would definitely recommend spending lots of time in the incredible walled garden. It’s so peaceful and just totally amazing.

Characterful barn on the Somerset Levels

MaggieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Beautiful barn in several acres of land down a very quiet country lane with walks from the door. Very well equipped, everything you could need. Showers were amazing and lovely bathroom products to use. Very comfortable beds and crisp linen. Loved spending time with the chickens who roam free during the day, and sitting listening to the birds. Lovely pub in Hambridge, very friendly, full of character and great food, about 1.5 mile walk each way. Andrea recommended Queen of Cups in Glastonbury for middle eastern tapas type plates…..food was amazing. We spent a lot of time at Avalon Marshes and RSPB Ham Wall (about 40 mins drive) which give a flavour of the landscape and saw some brilliant wildlife. We also explored Ham Hill which is beautiful with 360 degree views.
