Family-friendly holiday rentals in Flanders

The ZanziLodge is a real gem! The location is great: a stone's throw from the beach and from Bruges, so you can go out, but the lodge itself is an oasis of greenery and tranquility. A place to completely recharge and unwind. And the chickens, cows and Maurice the cat make it all complete. It's so nice to have all the animals around you, and Maurice is a real cuddly cat! In addition, the jacuzzi with a view over the cows is great, and you get real fresh eggs from them:) We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would 100% come back! Thank you Luc and Veronique for the great stay!

Bert’s place was perfect for our trip. It was so central to everything we wanted to see and do, and still managed to feel tucked away in the city. The balcony overlooking the canal was a great perk and we spent some evenings cooling off with a beer watching people and boats go by. The apartment itself had everything we needed and was very clean. Fair warning that in summer it gets very warm without air conditioning, but there was a fan we used in the bedroom and the cross breeze by keeping doors and windows open helped a lot. Highly recommend while in Gent.

Our stay was perfect! Accommodation as described. Peaceful environment 2 steps from the sea, ideally placed for walks!

We had a wonderful time with the family. The accommodation is as beautiful as in the photos, super well-equipped (especially for toddlers) and the environment very pleasant. We particularly enjoyed the fresh eggs in the fridge, and the Norwegian bath. Gaelle and her partner were very attentive to our well-being. And we also discovered a very beautiful region. Already want to go back!:)

Despite our adventures, Tito always kept smiling and that welcoming warmth that made us feel good as soon as we arrived. From the mojito to the atmosphere, from the decor to the cleanliness of the accommodation, there is nothing to say but "when are we coming back?"

We would like to thank our hosts Ingrid and Luc for the wonderful time in Balen. When we arrived, Ingrid greeted us with the key and a tour of the house. The accommodation was very clean and quiet - in the middle of the forest, but easy to reach by car. The next day, we were allowed to watch a horse feeding and admire the orchard. There is a beautiful hiking trail nearby, which is recommended. Thank you for the wonderful holiday, hospitality and generosity! We will be happy to come back!

Nathalie welcomed us very well for our arrival on site and gave us some tips and recommendations that we followed near the accommodation, the apartment is nearby, 5/10 minutes walk from a tram stop and about 30/40 minutes walk from the center. Ideal for friends and/or family with large spaces and well-equipped!

Great hosts, very kind and nice! exceptional location and crazy amount of provided games to play - tennis, ping pong, pétanques to name a few and things to do - cycling, walking, driving around, lake etc. We left recharged and happy. Thanx a lot!

We booked the accommodation for two nights with our dog. The garden is even more beautiful than in the photos, really great for relaxing! The complete fence was very practical, so our dog could run freely. We loved getting up in the morning and being greeted by the sweet pony and the sheep. The accommodation is relatively small, but has a huge bed and everything you need. You spend all your time in the garden anyway. The area is very quiet, but 5 minutes' walk there is a great hiking trail and 15 minutes' walk is a delicious and cheap fries bar. Aldi and Lidl are also not far away and 10 minutes by car there is another large hiking trail (Spookwegelwandeling) with free parking. In Bruges, you can easily reach it within 30 minutes by car. We would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay. We came with our 4 year old and there was so much to do. The location was ideal and you could walk to most places and the public transport was so easy and reliable too, so even when you did venture further out it was easy. The house was great and had nice, big bedrooms. The kitchen was incredible and you could easily do some proper cooking while there. The air bnb also came with a very cute dog and cat which our daughter adored! I would absolutely come back again :)

Very nice experience at Gaetan and Sonia's. Regarding the accommodation, everything was perfect and compliant. The decor is modern and tasteful. The environment is very quiet, wooded, in a neighborhood of very beautiful houses. Our hosts have a real sense of hospitality, are extremely friendly, available, discreet and helpful. A special mention also for Bravo, their adorable golden retriever. The natural pool is a very pleasant plus after a day spent in Walibi. And in this regard, being able to go on foot, along a path with very few cars, is a real plus. We will keep this address in our favorites for future weekends in Namur, Brussels... and will not fail to talk about it around us 😊😊😊

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Had a great stay at Emilie & Karim. Very nice garden for the kids and lovely terrace. Practical and handy kitchen. Quick responses to questions and very friendly. We really enjoyed our family weekend and would love to come back.

Bruges is a beautiful city and Tom's place is the best location to experience it. The apartment is in a historic building minutes walk from all interesting sites and activities. The apartment is very spacious and very comfortable. Everything is super clean and the amenities very modern. We really enjoyed our five nights stay. Tom is very responsive and a really nice guy. Through the years we stayed at douzaines of nice airbnbs in over ten countries. Tom's apartment and its hard to beat location in Bruges is up there among the very best we experienced. We highly recommend it. We will certainly plan to stay there again at our next visit to Bruges.

Very spacious accommodation, beautiful decoration with family works of art, you feel like you are in Provence as soon as you push the front door. Gordon was very friendly, helpful, responsive, discreet and respectful. the outdoor access with swimming pool is a small haven of peace. everything is made available to be comfortable, A more than successful stay! This beutiful apartment is in a little village outside the bigger village of Ypres. Perfect. Ann tells me that it's a lovely walk (I think she said about 45 min) to the village if you don't have a car - though I would recommend a car for exploring the area. The apartment is so cozy, clean and welcoming. And the bed is perfection. I just wish the weather would have cooperated and we would have been able to enjoy the shared garden. Though Ypres is much smaller than Brugge or Ghent - it's perfect. Great restaurants in the village square and a central location for all the drives to the WWI memorial sites. I highly recommend staying at Ann's apartment, it's a warm and comfortable space to start and end your long days of exploring.
